Ben Zwycky Posted March 21, 2006 Report Share Posted March 21, 2006 Maybe the PhysX chip isn't quite dead yet- their card can fit into a regular PCI slot and it's already supported by a few engines, including the reality engine. If the price is right (mid to low-end GPU range) and performance is as good as a high-end GPU doing the same job, it could be a good buy for those with non-PCIe or non-SLI motherboards. besides, I really like the airtight tech demo For me, this will only become an issue in 2010 , and I'm sure the situation will be very different.
