Much less micromanagement with cities (you can see everything you need to know about the city in the world view). Very large maps can get a bit laggy if your computer does not cut it. Oh and my favorite part: The game is built around multiplayer. GOOD MULTIPLAYER Never looked back at Civ 3 since I started playing 4. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But I loved it and I don't know why. I mean if a game is good, no matter what genre is I'll play it. I play gal civ 2, I played and liked BOTF, but it had problems. Tell me a bit about the gameplay. as someone who didn't play civ 3 or 2 which were 2 other good games I heard. Does it have water units, like warships submarines? Fighters?
