Cruis. In
Hey everyone, again, input I have noticed most gamers talk of their 1600 resolutions, Ive been wondering, most flat panel monitors i come across from browsing Dell, except the high end ones only offer up 1280... is there anything i can get in the 200 u.s price range that supports 1600 viewing? also I noticed for a while there are flat panel crt monitors though I never really checked them out, how good are these VS LCD? In terms of quality and price, and price for quality difference. I dont want a 200u.s monitor that can't go above 1280 resolution.
stingray
Maybe, but I doubt it'll be new. A refurbished and/or used one may sell for $200.00. Prices for flat screens have dropped quite a bit, it's probably just a matter of time, I guess.
Wolferz
I have a NIKO 19" widescreen LCD monitor that runs at 1440x900. Cost me around 200.00. It isn't the best but it gets the job done.
Guest
I have an Acer F-20 20" widescreen, but I think Acer has an alternate model with the exact same specs that's a bit cheaper. I've been extremely pleased with this monitor; it has an excellent picture and I've not noticed any ghosting whatsoever (8ms response)
