I just purchased your Ultimate Bundle from BMT Micro. However, after downloading the UC CE 2.0 game, I cannot find the Battlecruiser games as stated in your description as follows:

It consists of full copies of the three legacy Battlecruiser retail releases in their original state.

What happened?

Thanks.

The description of the game is indicative of what is included. It has not changed since it was first put up back in early 2009.

From the 2009 UCCE v2.0 description,

This:

It consists of full copies of the three legacy Battlecruiser retail releases in their original state

Goes with this:

Universal Combat Collectors' Edition contains all game scenarios from the following titles:

The UC Collector's Edition (both the 2007 original and the 2009 v2.0 release) allow you to play all the scenarios from the previous game within the updated game engines. This is the standard procedure for most collector edition games.

The primary reason is that without something like DOSBox, it is impossible to run those original games on modern computers and operating systems. Which is why the scenarios were converted, updated and tested to run on the more recent Collector's Edition game engines so that they are compatible with moden computers and operating systems starting from Win98 all the way to Win7.

As a bonus, they were also included in the 2007 release of the retail DVD version. The 2009 v2 was never released as a retail product and thus they were not included.

Below is an excerpt from the description of the 2007 UCCE DVD version:

===

6. Battlecruiser Millennium (EB Games, Nov 2001) *

7. Battlecruiser 3000AD v2.0 (Interplay, Dec 1998) *

8. Battlecruiser 3000AD (Take2, Sept. 1996) *

* Full stand-alone version included on DVD-ROM

===

Unfortunately, we no longer sell the 2007 DVD version, though some online retailers (e.g. Amazon, eBay etc) may have it from back stock.

As a matter of fact, the three titles mentioned above are available as FREE downloads all over the net. Here is one such link on FilePlanet

Hope this clears up the confusion.

ps: I'll see about having the web pages update with even more clarification in order to avoid further confusion.
