Hi all, me again - out of RP tags this time.

Just a quick note to let you all know that I don't want to see this situation getting out of hand. In fact, I won't stand for it. As Alun said, spies ARE a part of war. At first I was a bit reticent to accept Alun's proposal when he first suggested going under cover, but I took it because I thought it would enhance roleplay.

What I did not, and do NOT want is for it to cause rivalries. Bad luck, Insurgents, you got spied on. So what? You can do the same to us. We won't mind. However, personal slights, even on people's characters, are to be strongly (and don't push me or you'll find out how strong) discouraged. In saying this, I make reference to both Alun's description of Rattler's character as "a jerk" and Oliver's description of Alun as a "filthy little spy".

Yes, before I hear the protests, I KNOW that those comments were in RP tags. I don't care, because they offended the people involved. They were going over the top. We attack doctrines and beliefs, NOT characters. Whether it is in RP tags or real life.

Now, I will expect apologies, both from Alun to Rattler, and from Oliver to Alun, on this forum, and personally if you wish. And then, let's all shake hands and keep playing the game!

Hey friend... I don't think there's need to apologize to Alun or Bill or whoever. You do not know all the facts. He doesn't need to apologize too. This was all just fun. I wrote this, while I was chattin' with Bill. He said I "should go out there and threaten his life". Rest assured there's nothin' serious about it. We know each other for about three months now and he's really a buddy of mine. ok? I think I speak on behalf of Bill (not Alun) too. Sorry anyway if you felt offended, Bill. (Don't hink so, though)

Fire Sword, indeed you are new to the rebel movement so there is still time for you to reconsider your course of action. I want you to think fully about what you are about to embark on. Are you so eager and willing to take up arms against your own species? Does the thrill of battle excite you so that you have to kill humans in order to sate that need? I surely hope not. Contrary to what any insurgent recruiter has told you, when you look underneath all the self proclaimed righteousness and the "We fight for the Ozone layer." attitude, they are nothing more than raiders, thieves, murderers and terrorists.

The people of Earth chose their government officials, all of whom have been elected my the people, where as who chose the insurgents to be the so called defenders of humanity? It certainly was not the citizens of Earth. The UFN/EarhtCom/Galcom are all answerable to the people of Earth but who are the insurgents answerable too? Is it themselves?

RECONSIDER your actions, for if you do not change your course of action I will be forced to change it for you, by turning your ship into a burning charred hulk of mental drafting in space. Then you will truly be that flaming sword you speak of for the insurgency.
