Charles Lindsey
Should be posted in General Discussion. Try again there and I'm sure everyone will post some links to some HTML primer sites. Here we are. Try http://www.keyscreen.com/ for some free/shareware editors and a couple of reference libraries. Guest Remo Williams
J.Smith after reading your posts not quite sure what your trying to do. Are you just trying to figure out how to upload to your ISP using ftp or are you trying to convert your pics to the gif or jpg formatt to make them viewable on the net? If its the first one try building your site at freeyellow.com they make it really simple to upload to there server. If it be the second one you need a graphic utility to convert your images to a net viewable format and you can find that at the link Charles provided above. ------------------ Cmdr. Avant Garde
J.Smith, What format are you using for images? What you say it doesn't format, what do you mean? Do you mean the images don't appear? Because, that's the impression I'm getting from what you've said so far. Netscape or IE should be able to view most common image formats, i.e. bmp, jpg, gif, etc. If that's the problem, then you can just do what has already been said, and download a program or use a graphics program like PSP and save as a different format. One last thing, and this may sound stupid, but did you link your images to the url of where the image is stored, or is it linked to your hd?------------------ GCV-Transcendence Death before Dishonor
J.Smith
My computer says that t is not a valid gif file. Or any other type of graphics file, besides PCX.------------------ Commander J.Smith GCV-ROSETTA *3rd squadron, Marauder Wing Stationed, Starbase Fenrir ICQ#67121847 EST "choose your allies wisely, for they may turn against you." =WRAITH FLEET= [This message has been edited by J.Smith (edited 04-08-2000).]
