Põdi
I was in Bern yesterday, checking out all the small PC retailers (as usual) and one of them was advertising a 1.2GB T-Bird system with 256MB RAM, 60GB hard disk, GeForce 2 for CHF 1350 (around $950). This doesn't include monitor, printer etc. Is this a decent set up and a good deal? Unlikely I'll get it as cash is always tight, but just curious nevertheless. Epsilon 5
What type of gf2? What mb? So far It seems a bit costly, compared to what I could get here.
Põdi
Had another look today, it's actually a T-bird 1.33GHz. The GeForce 2 is an Apollo (?), 64MB. The problem with Switzerland is that most things are a bit more pricey, which is why I'm interested as to how prices compare to systems in the US for example. Guest
well it aint a bad price. Monitor included?A MBD+CPU+RAM+Vid card+HDD combo in the us costs about $790 . So if you getting the case, power supply and monitor with that price, its good.If its in switzerland and things are pricier, i'd still say its good. Epsilon 5
Ah, that changes everything... but an Apollo gf2... hmm... not sure...Seems like an acceptable deal.
PJFarland
I would say that all those prices are a bit pricey, but then again I get that stuff at cost.
