Thomas Braun Posted March 18, 2002 Report Share Posted March 18, 2002 Anyway, I just got offered an extremely good deal on Windows XP Proffesional ($36) by a Microsoft employee. So, I have a question about XP: is it any good? I see the SC's stopping support for Win98 and I figured if I'm going to upgrade I'd better go for the best. That's basicaly all that I've heard about XP, that old stuff won't work. That doesn't surprise me though. . . My old 3.X stuff doesn't work in 98. And I'll dual boot with DOS if I have to.
