Interesting read.

Remind me of the ever classic of "non-sensical intelligence" where logic would assume stuff such as "To get rid of an epidemic, kill every infected one", "A region is frenquently flooded, then move everyone elsewhere", etc...

Reminds me of a book I read too.. can't remmeber the name, but the computer would become so evoluated, that he would start to find his work boring, and then would "cry" because he didn't wanted to die (to be disconnected(

..or the background story of The Matrix and all those stories about computers taking over the weak and slow-minded humans

Nah. The computer never became evil, and, I'm not sure thought, I think it was part of a compilation of small stories.
