I've ordered from Amazon one called Spriggan (or Supurigan as it's also known) based on some very glowing reviews on the net. I hear it's got 0 character development but great action scenes. Anyone seen it?

Yeah, I saw that in the movies.....it's really good, but the ending is a bit dodge...I won't give it away

Doggone it, how'd I miss this thread?!!!!

Here, all this time I was thinking "Robotech: Battlecry" was one of the DVD titles. I had heard of the upcoming game and never put 2 and 2 together. Shame on me for...well, until whenever the game comes out.

Now all I got to do is convince my brother to let me use his PS/2.

This game looks cool!

dont really care. it just means that i dont have to get a xbox just for this game

you would think though that the xbox would have the fasted framerate.

Uh, kinda hard to say.. it depends on what game you're playing and how much optimization has gone into it. For Battlecry though, I'd expect it to be equal across all platforms.

i got mine today... talk about disappointment.

the battles are bland. nothing like the feel you get while watching the cartoon, and they left out the entire 2 year trek the SDF1 made from pluto back to earth!!! wtf. that was one of the most important pieces of the series!!!

you go from boobytrap where the zentraedi first attack earth straight to bursting point where the sdf1 returns and is engaged in the battle over new toronto. then from there its onto force of arms... and even that was kinda blah

im debating on whether or not to take this back and trade it in for Godzilla: king of the monsters.

that was on demo at the gamestop and that looked cool as hell. even got to play it for a bit, and i wanted to take it home too

well its a different story line, and ur not stationed on the SDF-1. the end boss u never hear of in the show, or i dont recall him in it. they did do a good job tryin to capture the feel of the show without making show all over. ill admit it was kinda bland; shoot (guns and/or missles), boom, next target, repeat

i thought it was good though, but just a lil short, but then i played it for like 2-3 days like 4+ hrs each day

all i need to do is get all the medals and unlock the rest of the secrets

people complain to much... first all, this is the first decent robotech game ever. all others have been extreme failures. second of all, with the licensing attacks Harmony Gold does, its a wonder that it got that far. granted some the things people complain about, from a game play perspective, i understand. overall, i think it is a great game. but my biggest complaint is on those &^*((*&^%% escort mission. im am sick of em. robotech games can only get bigger better from here if this is sucessful... so please, give them some credit. thanks TDK.

put down the pipe. this was the only robotech game i can remember being created.

am i *****ing??? yes. why? because i blew 80 bucks on a game and all i got was this cool t shirt. they could have done much better by sticking to the original storyline, and maybe done these missions as an add on.

and i have every right to ***** if im shovelling 80 bucks of MY money, not mommy and daddys, and i find the product disappointing. i realize no one twisted my arm to buy the game, but with as much sugar coating they put on it, ray charles would have bought it. if you dont like it, add me to the ignore list.

next up on the block??? probably the latest ghost recon add on.

I can recall about a dozen Robotech/Macross games... they've ranged from arcade side scrollers to strategy console games to 3D action games. I've played most of the ones I know about except the Macross Digital Missions games for Playstation and this latest one.

Ther we quite of few... but none of em ever made to the US... except the side scrolling one i think. PC-Engine had one, PS1 had a few of em, they made one for the Dreamcast, and many other systems. But they where all horrible. Gameplay had serious issues, and so forth. Only reason to have it is becasue the novelty of it.
