Caught part of an episode when it was shown and was hooked even thought it was in German with English subtitles, when it was repeated watched it again. Like most countries here in the UK we are taught a slanted view of history. This film / series shows the men in the German armed forces as "real" men doing the job they had been trained for. I agree the movie is good but I had a hard time finding out what were the added scenes since the last time I saw the original was quite some time ago.
