Charles Lindsey
http://www.ea.com/eagames/main/pccd/1503ad/home.jsp This looks cool. Looks to be an empire building game but you can use war OR diplomacy to achieve your goals. Economy driven as well. You have to colonize and build your village. There was a old demo called Knights and Merchants that I liked. This seems close but better. There was another demo set in medeival times that I also liked. Can't remember that one. Anyway it looks cool. Gonna get the demo.
insecttoid3
ah, the sequil to 1602 ad was a fun and adictive game, so this should be good
Charles Lindsey
I missed out on 1602. Electronic Arts sent me an email so I decided to check this out. I may have to get the demo one night and give it a whirl.

ShoHashi
I have 1602..bought it when it first came out. After playing it awhile..decided it wasn't really all that good. However, the demo of 1503 came on this month's PC Gamer CD. I installed it and gave it a whirl. It's not too bad at all! This one may very well be a keeper. Charles Lindsey
It's decent. The tutorial teaches you the basics but as a scenario pretty much stinks. The actual settlement scenarion is much better. I haven't tried the war one yet. I'll play the settlement scenario a couple more times. It seems pretty decent all in all.
