Hey everyone, again, input I have noticed most gamers talk of their 1600 resolutions, Ive been wondering, most flat panel monitors i come across from browsing Dell, except the high end ones only offer up 1280... is there anything i can get in the 200 u.s price range that supports 1600 viewing? also I noticed for a while there are flat panel crt monitors though I never really checked them out, how good are these VS LCD? In terms of quality and price, and price for quality difference. I dont want a 200u.s monitor that can't go above 1280 resolution.

curious as to what you guys think are the best options to upgrade to, and whether or not one has to really upgrade. I bought my radeon x800 XT in January 2005 I think that was a couple of months after its release. To date no game I have played has been able to bog down the card, games like Fear, or Rome total war, Im wondering if it makes much sense to upgrade and what new features in these new cards am I missing? I think so far I can do without the new features, HDR and such until almost another year.

by the time you have to get another console its like 3 years, more than enough time to save for it, and only another 400 u,s compared to another PC or an upgrade of a graphics card for a pc which is itself 400 u.s for the best. and the console can play any game coming down the line for PC or handle it.

i have the client too, but something confuses me, with so many expansions, do i have to download each one? or the expansion is included in the latest client... what about people who are not playing with revelations? or is it a must download so that everyone is compatible?

It has been known for whatever reasons that PC gaming is on the decline. It has been known console games sell more. So I have a couple questions and need some clarity. Why make games for PC anymore? Why do double release like Xbox and PC? It seems almost all types of games are becoming accessible and playable on the console now, and soon many a keyboard and mouse will be made for and used so that you don't only have a controller, so an in depth sim like X3 Reunion or Universal Combat could be released on it. Advantage being you sell more, the hardware can support the more processor intensive games now and you can still get the kayboard mouse gameplay....

activision sued paramount in 2003, claiming they no longer support the star trek franchise because no t.v series and no movies were coming out, so they sued to be released from the contract, among other things. hence why no trek games since then.

boy if they had taken 3 years to develop a game like UC in the trek universe, they'd be back ordered forever. 3 years and no trek game, the community will buy anything. And its bad. nothing redeeming about it. Ill just wade through the single player and be done with it, like a one time movie.

i see there are isps's listed on the site which support xbox live, does an isp need something to support it? Can I play from my country like i would over the internet on the PC? IS it not just an elaborate gamespy type thing inside a console?
