I like lemme see....Should I dare list? Well going to the Anime Expo was quite the experiance. For one I didn't really like Lain, it was really deep and way too serious. I liked Urusi Yatsura but it was also kinda crappy animation, I hate Dragonball because It's a massacre of animation in general...But other than that... -Sailormoon (It's what got me involved in Japanese Anime in the first place) -Ranma 1/2 (Funniest Anime I've ever seen!) -Dragon Half (Good show, a little rediculious but it's helarious!) -Slayers (One of my faves.) -Elf Princess Raine (I've only seen the first few episodes of this one) -Evengallion (But it's not really my absolute favorite...Too technological..I like fantasy!) -Saber Marionette R and J and S (This show rocks!) -Visions of Escaflowne (if you watch this BEWARE the noses! It's freaky! But it's a good story!) -Fushugi Yuugi (I can't ever spell it right, but it's a good show...I've seen most of these.) -X the movie (Shakesperish with technology involved..Needless to say everyone dies...Dammit! It's so annoything!) -X the series (Good show!) -Inu Yasha (It's a good story too! But it's one of the more rare ones. You won't find this just anywhere) -Tenchi Muyo (Exellent show series and movie! Okay...Looking at the statistics Angel and Data are out, my reasons are because they don't have any brute strength. Angel has morals which would stop him from killing the others and Data has none, making him go on numerous Suicide runs. Data has no real physical strength either. Kai and Wolverine on the other hand do have attribute that make them very formidiable. Kai because he's strong, and shoots to kill with dead accuracy and Wolverine with his big claws. Arigato! I've actually been teaching myself mostly! I've been learning how to draw for about fifteen years...I'm eighteen currently. I've also been taking classes in Elementary, Junior High School and High School. I'm currently just starting my first year in the Alberta College of Art and Design...I'm gonna be a professional Comic book artist. Mwahahaha! I've drawn Anime a lot. It's hard but it's much easier than the realistic workings. This one was actually my first attempt at a more comicish motif. It's a lot of work...This took me about three days. First day pencil and ink, second basic colorings and the third finishing and signing. Can any of you guess where the uniform came from? And yes, this is a picture of Akuma Minako. "Looks like we're not being jammed sir." Kirin nods again having expected that. "Alright then, let's get a communication link with the others of the Orion Fleet and have them able to communicate through us." The officer saluted before hurrying off. Suddenly the ship was alive with busy bodies and tapping fingers. "Link established with Commander Savage sir. Would you like to establish visual as well?" Kirin nods. "Aye, do that too." Karl Savage's face appears on screen. "Sir." He says. "Looks like our ship isn't being jammed. I'm suggesting that perhaps you run your messages through us." He smirks. "Akuma Minako has relieved herself of command and confined herself to her quarters. I will be in command of the GCV Tenchi until further notice from you or another higher up." He pause. He listened to the transmission, closed his eyes for a moment then turned to tactics. "Cease fire." He says slowly. "But keep em hot." Meanwhile Akuma Minako stands back in worry. "What have I done." She murmers silently. "This was a peaceful cruise to escape life in galcom. I didn't intend for this to happen." She sinks down to the floor, leaning against the back wall. One officer notices her and touches her shoulder. "It's okay Akuma, Kirin knows how you feel. He's not heartless." Akuma nods silently. "This is all my fault." The officer smiles. "Not entirely. You were trying to raise our spirits. You were in the right in doing so...We just got caught off guard." Akuma shakes her head violently. "But it's still my fault!" She puts her head in her hands. "If only I didn't follow my heart so much!" The officer kneels down beside her. "Don't talk that way Akuma." He smiles. "Your heart is what brought us this far. We just have to be more careful from now on." Akuma shakes her head again. "And what if there is NO from now on?! What if I get executed for this? You know it's possible!" "But you did the right thing giving Kirin command, and you did the right thing opening fire! You did the right thing to attempt to get us to relax and you especially did the right thing to follow your heart!" Akuma looked up at the Officer silently examining him quietly. "Give them somthing to..." He didn't even get the words out...The ship gave a violent lurch then broke away from the Nevermore's tractor beam. "What the hell's going on?!" One of the tactic's officers shouts over the milling of crew. "Our lower deck hulls been breeched! Shields to 40%! Powercells damaged severly! We've got people down there! They're trapped!" Kirin blinked in surprise. "Okay lets get a small repair team out there! Make sure your careful! If you don't think it's safe, don't take the chance! We'll hold them off here." He taps a coded message into his communication device and sends it off to Akira. :What the hell are you doing?!: ********************************************* Akuma Minako sits infront of the comms unit her eyes blurring. "My mother was right." She says quietly as the connection with Blade's ship is established. "No one ever mentions fear." She smiles. "I guess they're not jamming my signal." She says quietly. "I have a lot of things I need to explain to you." "For one, I'm so..." The ship shook like it was in a violent earthquake and the screen before her goes blank then catches fire. "Damn!" She throws her blanket on the comms unit and beats it furiously. When the fire is finally out she runs out of her quarters and makes her way to the bridge. Upon entering the bridge she blinks at Kirin. "What's going on?" Tears marr her face as she humms softly then begins singing. "Heart don't fail me now, Courage don't desert me, Don't turn back now that we're here. People always say life is full of choices, No one ever mentions fear. Or how the world can seem so vast, On a journey to the past." She closes her eyes and reaches out blindly to her left pulling down a faded picture. A little boy around the age of five with brilliantly bright eyes and a smile that could soften the hardest of hearts. "Somewhere down this road, I know someones waiting, Years of dreams just can't be wrong, Arms will open and I'll be safe and wanted, Finally home where I belong! Well starting now I'm learning fast, On this journey to the past!" Her voice softens as she traces the picture tears splash on the glass. She then reaches out again to clasp a note. A note written by Rattler when he had saved her life. She closes her eyes torn between two places. "Home, love, family, there was once a time I must have had them too, Home, love, family, I can never be complete until I find you! One step at a time, On hope than another, Who knows where this road may go! Back to who I was, On to find my future, Things my heart still needs to know!" She stands up doing up the clasp of her uniform and placing the music box back on the shelf and placing the picture beside it. The music box still plays as she walks towards the comms unit. "Yes! Let this be a sign! Let this road be mine! Let it lead me to my past! And bring me home! At Last!" She hooks up a private line and sends it on scrambled towards Blades. "I've been a fool." She says simply. While waiting for her line to be secured on the other end she messages Kirin. "Kirin, warn commander Akira that we are opening fire and for them to drop the tractor beam! I want all weapons open in ten! Make sure you secure a line and scramble it!" "Sunny side up or down Akuma?" Came the reply. "Glad to hear you're feeling better." "Nothing like a little music to sooth the soul...And clarify the mind." She closes her eyes. "Just don't hit anything vital on the ship." "Aye aye ma'am." "If you would like, I can have communtications patch you through to her quarters, though I doubt she's in any mood to talk to anyone." Kirin closes his eyes and shakes his head slowly. "Just don't judge her too harshly sir." He says carefully with the deepest undertones of respect. She stood up from the command chair and makes her way towards Kirin. Slowly her second in command comes around. "Look Kirin," She says slowly. "I know this looks bad, I've botched up, more than I wanted to." Kirin nodded scowling darkly at her. "You can say that again Commander! You've been reckless, more than reckless! You've put everyone in danger!" Akuma nods. "Just play this through till they let us out of the tractor beam..." She says quietly. "You have command." Kirin blinked. "What?" "Please, do this for me." She shakes her head. "I'm a lousy commander. I was never suited to be a commander." Kirin's eyes widened then a hand came up and made contact with Akuma's face with a loud SLAP. "DON'T YOU EVER SAY THAT!" Akuma blinked back tears from the hit. "W...What?" She turned away from him. "Why not? All I wanted was a family Kirin! You know that! Everyone on this ship knows that!" Kirin nodded. "And we promised to help you find just that Commander." He lays a hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry, we'll get you out of this yet." He smiles warmly. "It might not be the way that you like it." Akuma shakes her head. "I...I think it's too late for that." She stands. "You're in charge, do what you have to, but please play this through." Kirin nods slowly. "You know I and some of the other crew members don't like the fact that you talk to Rattler...To any of the insurgents." He reaches out and places a hand on hers. "But he's family to you isn't he?" Akuma nodded silently. "He's the only one I've got to look up to." She turns from Kirin and heads towards the door. "I don't know why I'm even in Galcom...I should have joined the Insurgents in the first place!" Kirin spun her around so fast that she barely had time to react. "DON'T GO TALKING LIKE THAT!" He regained his composure then touched her face gently. "We know you're past Commander, not a single person on this ship dosen't. We may be loyal to Galcom, but we also know what it's like to lose family. If he's all you've got left, we respect that." Akuma smiled. "Thank you...I...I think I'm going to go lay down for awhile, till I regain my composure." Her eyes were clouded with unshed tears. "Kirin...I'm sorry." The doors slide open and Akuma Minako steps through them silently. Kirin takes his place at the commanders chair and looks to communications. "Send a Text file to Rattler informing him that Akuma Minako is safe and that I have taken command until she is feeling better." He clenches his fist. "Get a visual link up with Commander Greg Miller asap and make sure he knows it's important." He looks towards tactics. "Keep firing those weapons ladies and gentlemen. You heard Akuma! Glancing blows only! No serious hits!" [rp] The hailing frequency from Greg Miller was right on time. She blinked then began her speech as she had rehersed it in her mind. "Commander Miller! They've got a Tractor beam locked on me sir! Ever since I was out on patrol!" She closes her eyes, several of the crew had left the main deck and retreated to their quarters, either feeling like traitors or fearing what is to come. Suddenly as if with no warning Akuma Minako's Second in command Kirin Blake came on deck. Oh god no...Not now! You'll ruin everything! "What the hell are you doing commander!" Kirin said looking up and noticing Greg Miller's face on screen. "Bout time you got here! I was getting sick of all of the trecherous things Akuma has been doing!" Akuma palmed her face and groaned. "Look! It's not what you think!" "It's exactly what you think! Akuma Minako is cooperating with the Enemy, she's..." Akuma turned abruptly giving him a glare. "That's enough Kirin. I was attempting to negotiate with them." The ship rocked violently sending Kirin into a wall. Kirin slid to his knees then keeled over unconcious. She looked down at her computer and surveyed the "damage". "I've got hull breeches and casualties Commander!" She groans again. And I hope that those reports are false information like the last one. "I need help asap. There's a hell of a lot of them!" She says before cutting the frequency. "Alright people...Return fire! Remember don't hit them! Glancing blows only." Miller, providing he's at all competent, will appear and I will allow him to 'rescue' you and your crew." the man said obviously worried. She nods. "Lets do it then." She says simply. "Engineer shields and AI switched to passive on my mark! MARK!" The screen cuts and she hopes to hell that the insurgent whoever he was could pull this off while making it look convincing. "I may not be able to escape the fact that I went AWOL but I can sure as hell have an excuse for dissappearing from patrol." She smirks. "Everyone hang on, and get rid of those Sake glasses! We don't want suspisions, even if they are confirmed." Several Sake glasses disappear into hidden compartments benith their command consuls. "Hopefully we can pull this off people." [rp] Oh come on! She puts her hand on her forhead as if trying to remember somthing in the distant past. "Follow them." She says with venom in her voice. "Follow them and get a communications up." "Communications established Akuma." one of the communications said. "Get me visual as well." "Visual established." She said quietly, seemingly afraid of the other ship. "Commander." She said.
