I recently started in trader free flight mode and as soon as I launched I got a message that karl Reines himself was a guest on my battlecruiser! (band music starts playing) I was just wondering why? is it just some random event? By the way in TacOps when I click on the fleet tab all I get is a list of ships and when I click one... nothing happens

Hi, new commander checking in. I have a question about BCM, what is the point of first person mode in space? besides the fact that it's totally cool and ads realism to the game. What can you do? can you lay mines on another ships hull? and what happens if you try to enter the atmosphere of a planet in FP? Also will there be first person mode in stations in BCM or is that just GCO? (Edit) In BC3k is there any easy way to locate starbases that I don't know about? because I've had a heck of a time referring to the manual for the cordinance (spelling) and that only gives me the general area.
