  1. Sorry for the late reply BOSS, from my experience the only two things I notice as a PC user are about controls.

The first one is the pointer precision that sometimes hampers a bit the ability to place soldiers well in cover especially if you need to place them close to each other.

The second one is a more general one about control as there are multiple ways to issue orders and select soldiers in the game, by clicking on the portrait or on the soldier itself but no way to select more than one at a time. You can only order all to move to a location but there is no way you can order the same thing to 2 soldiers only. Splitting fire teams is a useful thing and doing it with half the cliks in a tight situation can be a life saver (especially when your heavy has a rocket launcher).

It may be better to have a single way to access a certain path of orders so that a little misplaced click don't makes you have to cancel and re-do again.

Now that I think of it, firing solutions for the heavy with a missile launcher or grenade launcher are a bit harmful when in cover as he often hit crates or other objects in front of him or near other team members; he need a lot of micro managing that may be avoided if tolerances were lessened.

    Just my two cents.

You can select more than one unit at a time by holding down the CTRL key. Its in the docs as well in the online manual

  2. Now that the demo is out, we're working on a maintenance update to fix some issues (e.g. gesture system on some devices), rework some things (e.g. PC hot keys etc) etc. If there is anything that you'd like to see address or which you have experienced, please post it here for review and further discussion.

  3. So, once again we're back on Steam amid the troll cesspool that is within the forums. To get a recap, start with my In Pursuit Of Fairness post and work your way from there. Those same nutjobs, (they even used the same usernames - go figure) having been banned, are now doing the same thing on the game's product page and on the game's Metacritic page.

So if you have the game, have played it etc, please post your reviews here, here and here and let's vote down those idiots.

    Thanks

  4. v1 and v2 of the game are totally different in terms of game engines and some gameplay aspects. So unless you have a rig capable of running it, you will have those issues.

As for trading in a shuttle, it should in fact be possible. It depends on whether it is your shuttle (assigned to your craft) and if you are docked at a station/base that allows trading with your race/caste. That's a fundamental game feature that has not changed since the original BC3K game.

  5. The game was recently completed and has now been submitted to all three AppStores (Apple, Google Play, Amazon) and will also be appearing on Windows Phone 8, Windows 8 marketplace (with touch controls for those of you with touch laptops and tablets) as well as the usual digital distribution suspects, Steam, GameFly, Gamers Gate etc

  6. As you are probably aware, the game is finished and undergoing final testing. If you missed the recently released gameplay trailer, you can find it here.

The game is approved for Steam and it will be released simultaneously across all platforms. Though the Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 AppStores may be delayed due to the long lead
    times for Microsoft app approvals.

    The pricing info is below.

  7. You probably caught the news on the game's Facebook page or my Twitter feed.

Anyway, LOD Tactics started out as a companion app to LOD with minimal features (map, assets dB access, profile info etc). Then knowing that most mobile companion apps were just not good enough, I changed the design and made it into a full fledged Unity3D powered tactical game based on the events of the first LOD comic book.

You can read more about it on the game's website.

It is 99% completed and due out by the end of the year on Apple, Google and Amazon AppStores for $4.99 (full version). A Windows 8, Windows Phone 8 and OSX version are also being released.

The first three missions in the sixteen mission campaign are free to try. And if you like the game, then you just pay for the full version.

  8. I am going to be doing a series of walkthrough movies of the complete carrier and station interiors which you will be exploring and doing battle in. Watch for those coming soon.

In the meantime, you can view the 2D deck schematics in the asset database along with some 3D images in the gallery pages.

    Arkangel Station Deck Schematics

    Overwatch Station Deck Schematics

  9. adding command line /opt_cheat_on is not adding cheat menu, how i can activate cheats other way? i completed the game and would be cool to see how it looks with "extra powers"

That's because that's not the correct command. It should be /opt_cheats_on if supported by your game. And I'm assuming that you know how to add command line parameters to a shortcut.

Which game do you have anyway? You have been posting in various forums about this stuff.

Also, tampering with any of the game files with the wrong tool will cause those problems. So don't do it.

All these games use a different kernel. So the tools (e.g. Playmod) have to support them. And if not, they won't work.
