  3. Yes, got mine today for 39,95 EUR from a shop - that's about 50,84 USD! Well, at least the manual (56 pages) has been translated to German. Edit: Well, manual seems a bit small with less than 60 pages, especially chapter 12. No PDF of a full manual included this time. (It has been included with BCMG.) No galay map this time. Instead, the keyboard layout has been provided twice: one in the beginning of the (German) manual, and the same on the inside of the DVD like hull. There I also found the Key Code (for registration)! Game itself is in English (naturally), but this is not being mentioned anywhere. Some German buyers sure will be disappointed... Best regards [ 02-14-2004, 01:04 PM: Message edited by: Gudihl ]

  6. Read this first: How to add your system profile to your forum sig No support otherwise! In fact, this whole thread, and possibly even you account, will be deleted if you do not fullfill those requirements! You have been warned... Best regards

  8. quote: Originally posted by Remo Williams: Good news commanders primefleet.com is back up. I'll being transfering all of our content back to the site over the next few days. That's great news! quote: I just bought our very own webserver to host the site on along with a few others. Its running Windows 2003 enterprize edition. I should have a T3 connection to the net sometime next week. Best regards
  9. Just made a (small) donation. Keep up the good work!
  10. quote: Originally posted by Eclipse: sorry to break in here but isn't that Gallions personal avatar you are using there? Well, we have over 1000 registered members here, and only a hand full of avatars (less than 200 IIRC). This one is from the forum avatar database, as is mine... Best regards
  11. quote: Originally posted by voltaic: The fleet registration page now displays only the appropriate wings for the chosen fleet during the registration process. For example, if a new player is signing up for the Spectre fleet, he (currently) will have no wing options, but if he chooses the Prime or Wraith fleets, the appropriate wings are dynamically displayed in the wings pulldown. This is great news! Thanks a lot, voltaic! Best regards
  12. I am still very happy with my F-16 FLCS TQS Combo. But it's very expensive, as is its successor... Best regards [ 12-11-2003, 06:42 PM: Message edited by: Gudihl ]

  14. Derek, Cmdr. Williams is Prime's Personnel Officer. If you agree, I grant him Fleet Leader security level on the Fleets DB, so that he can manage personnel, and maintain communications. Remo, any news on the status of the web page(s)? Best regards
  15. Gentlemen, I am on a vacation until 28th - Fleet Staff is in charge! Best regards
  16. Thread moved! You may find a solution here: www.3000ad.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=000565#000022 Best regards
  17. ShoHashi, Netscape and Mozilla are more or less the same, i. e. Mozilla is the open source program suite in development, and every other time, a new Netscape version spawns from it. It is therefore perfectly legal to mention Mozilla, when you are asked for Netscape... (This is just like StarOffice (from SUN), and OpenOffice.org. The later is the open source program suite of the later, with some copyrighted additions, and support.) It is also planned to split the Mozilla Programm Suite into its various parts, i. e. browser, email client, ... Apart from Mozilla/Netscape, and the Internet Explorer, you may also want to take a look at the Opera browser. This little gem is also a programm suite with an email client onboard. It is adware unless bought, and the favorite browser for a lot of people. Best regards

If they are not obsolete, you folks can add them directly to the fleets to which they belong (in the same way you added those to the Prime fleet command structure). Well, the question was, to clarify: Do those battalions need to be on the top-level structure? Now, by removing them from there, you have answered it. Another questions that just occured to me: what about those other GALCOM races, i.e. the Empirians, and the Vesperons? Do they have their own fleets, or do the known GALCOM fleets like Prime, Wraith, ISS, and Orion consist of members of all there races? Just wondering... quote: Originally posted by Supreme Cmdr: The corporations and other non-military fleets etc - as I've posted before in this thread - need to post their proposal, members, web page etc in order for a level 4 person (e.g. Gallion) to create a structure for them on the main alliance page. And I'm not going to allow people to just create fleets/corps willy nilly. Unless there are at least eight members in the proposal, its not getting added. You heard the Boss. Now move, gentlemen! Best regards
  19. quote: Originally posted by Supreme Cmdr: Also note that fleets can now be part of other fleets, in the same way wings are parts of fleets. e.g. the 15th Space Marine Battalion fleet is part of Prime Fleet. So, in this manner, several fleet smaller fleet divisions (e.g. one consisting of purely pilots or marines etc) can be part of a much larger fleet. Derek, I went for a search on the origins of those Marine Battalions, and found this: quote: we are integrating 15th Space Marine Battalion and 7th Orbital Marine Battalion into the Orion Fleet structure. Don't forget that SMB are the guys running around on the planet surface, driving ATVs etc. The OMB are the guys stationed in cruisers and carriers and who, sometimes get to go out in space in jetpaks. We therefore need to create the following new battalions and re-assignments quote: 1st SMB / 1st OMB - Prime Fleet 9th SMB / 4th OMB - EarthCOM Fleet 15th SMB / 7th OMB - Orion Fleet 14th SMB / 9th OMB - ISS Fleet Thus, I have created two wings called 1st OMB, and 1st SMB within Prime Fleet. IIRC, Rattler was the only other "Alliance Leader" beside you. Well, LordDavid as chief of the Gammulans would be one, too. But is there some need for those Marine Battalions to be Fleets? Best regards
  20. Last roll call, maybe... Thanks for the info, Remo. The new DB will surely help a lot... Best regards
  21. Also: get the latest drivers for your card from creative. You may also try this: start the "dxdiag" program (Start button, run program, enter dxdiag), choose Sound, and try setting the acceleration slider one tick to the left, or even slower. You may even try this, latest drivers and slider setting, before playing with that -x# flag... Best regards
  22. quote: Originally posted by Soviet: And quote: Quoted from Installshield docs According to Windows logo requirements, you must install your application's files to a subfolder of the Program Files folder, regardless of the language of the target system. If you use ProgramFilesFolder as the parent folder for your product's Destination Folder property, your files will be installed to the correct location. The initial value for this property is [ProgramFilesFolder][product name]. Well thats wonderful too bad you didn't even follow this rule: as in C:Program FilesDreamcatcher3000adBattlecruiser Millennium Gold Last I heard "Battlecruiser Millennium Gold" was the product name. and as an aside where u used dreamcatcher ( i used "extras") and where u used 3000ad (i used "games") so there we have it we are both 2 directories away from product name. That's hair splitting BS! If you edit the installation path during the actual installation, you are on your own. Quite simple, isn't it? The recommended way to apply patches is to copy the patch file to your game directory, whereever it lives. Then do the patch, and everything will be nicely found, and get patched. It's in the Troubleshooting FAQ for years IIRC! Oh, and some free hint: Don't mess with the boss! Best regards
