$60? are u kidding me? the price is too great. i consider that a steal.
i look at what a game has to offer, and then look at its cost. if they equal up, give or take $5-10 then im happy. i got The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind Collectors Edition, and didnt blink twice at the price, it had more than what it cost in there. im sure BCG will be the same. i bought BCM on a whim, hopin it would be good, it was, an now im hooked

quote:Originally posted by Supreme Cmdr:I must say that after playing the excellent IG3 demo, I am dying to go back to that nice, clean interface which I had back in the early days of BC. What do you guys think? i.e. a ship HUD interface nice, clean and similar to Tacops.
i love it, Tacops was fast and clean. and i really liked the HUD on IG3. it was off to the sides, out of the way.
only thing it lacked as a way to hide or colapse the menus u didnt need like we can do on the BCM hud, i.e. the fighters, shuttles, missles/mines and CID
but uv always done well by whatever uv picked, so i have faith that ur decisions will be whats best

love the graphics, and the movie mode... WOW
but that demo was hard as all get out, took me a couple min to even get a grip of the contols, and even then i still got smoked. the carrier is all but useless, and the other ships dont have enough power to take on the other ships
any tips on how to survive in the demo?

ISP's can already do that under the Patriot Act but the PA only allows such information to be given to law enforcement. HR 3482 allows that information to be given to ANY agency.
if its passed, American citizens are gonna get 'did' against a wall with hand cuffs and no vasaline
sorry if that line is a lil graphic but thats how its quickly becoming in America. i have more pride in my freakin state (Cali) than i do in my own damn country

my opinion on the situation is.......... if u dont want it hacked into (i.e. govt servers) dont put the thing online.
its amazing how stupid our govt has become and how lil freedom we have. heck we really only have the illusion of freedom

yeah, i personally use 1st Page 2000, its the best iv found.
IMHO, anyone who uses a WYSIWYG has no webpage skillz. those type of editors add extra uneeded code, and it isnt optimized at all. i used DW in my HTML class, and had to use notepad to fix all the code DW had mangled
but that i know of there are no "free" WYSIWYG editors, cause they arent easy to make

thing is kids who grew up in the ghettos, hoods, projects, and slums would understand those alot better than y=(x+2)*5
throw in weeds rates and loans sharks, then those kids are set

quote:Originally posted by Supreme Cmdr:New patch is out. Take a look at this. And you thought my lists were bad
i got the patch and read the list, and i was horrified. my first thought was 'the SC makes better patches'
i vote for the SC to be CEO of the Developers Union, maybe the lazy punks will get things done right with the right leader in charge
wait scratch that idea, hed be to busy to make anymore games for us, we cant have that now can we

lol, funny one
if the earth is flat, then how come with all the exploartion we have done, have not found the so called "walls of the south pole" that are at the edges of the planet? seems to be that some one never got any in high school or college

with DSL, the line may be yours, but it has to go to a central router to be processed, and the distance to that central station makes the speeds drop
iv got cable, and iv had lil to no problems. i get some nice DL speeds and if ur worried about a shared network, u can DL Zonealarm, its a free firewall (then again my town is small enough were i have few ppl with cable)

Subject: Why I am tired
For a couple years I've been blaming it on lack of sleep, too much pressure from my job, earwax buildup, poor blood, but now I found out the real reason:
We're tired because we're overworked. Here's why:
The population of this country is 273 million.
140 million are retired. That leaves 133 million to do the work.
There are 85 million in school. This leaves 48 million to do the work?
Of this there are 29 million employed by the federal government. Leaving 19 million to do the work.
2.8 million are in the armed forces. This leaves 16.2 million to do the work.
Take from that total the 14,800,000 people who work for state and city governments. And that leaves 1.4 million to do the work.
At any given time there are 188,000 people in hospitals, Leaving 1,212,000 to do the work.
Now, there are 1,211,998 people in prisons. That leaves just two people to do all the work.
You and me
... And you're sitting on your ass, at your computer, reading jokes.

im from Cali, and almost all the cops in cities like that get a lil excessive. its alot of media BS that makes ppl in general think all minorites are thugs, gang bangers, or otherwise undesirable.
but the police never have enough men or women on the force. so i doubt he will get fired, maybe supended and fined. if he is fired it will be a good thing
