  1. I think the pocupine would make a cooler Snuggle than the teddy bear, personally. Though if either one is the scariest thing you've ever seen, you don't get out much But on the subject of personified animals, my stepbrother's son was watching some cartoon with personified animals. There was a turtle, a fox, a badger, a bear, and along comes the only female in the cartoon, a beaver. Not exactly scary, but I can't help but wonder if that was intentional. 2. quote: and i went in using the bodyguard disguise... i garotted the guard that comes out of the side door to take a leak... then i drug him into the back door of the garage, picked up the sniper rifle, and popped the don while he was on his balcony practicing his golf swing Did nearly the same thing, except I just used the silenced Beretta to get him and the Guard that partols outside. Then I grabbed the sniper rifle and went back to the starting point and shot the Don from there, since none of the guards are alerted if you shoot from the hill.

quote: Anyway, IÔÇÖm not an expert on body piercing, but I rather doubt you have to leave them in all the time. Depending on the area pierced you have to leave them in pretty much continously for some length of time, or risk having the hole close up. That's why people in jail/prison often stick broken off pieces of pen caps and other items into thier holes (never been there personally, but I know a few people who have been). I have a friend who took her nose ring out one night because it was just bothering her and she couldn't sleep. When she got up the next morning it had closed up so much that she couldn't put the ring back in. I've even met somebody once with one of those giant stretched out ear piercings that had completely closed up (and yes, it was pretty nasty looking).

Not being into piercings, I never really understood any of them. A good case in point, would be my friend Jonah, again, who has holes in his earlobes several inches in diameter. I swear if they were any larger I could put my fist through the hole. As for piercings in girls that I date when I'm actually in personable mood and into dealing with relationships, I don't mind ear piercings, even multable ones as long as they're not stretched, I don't mind the nose inluding the septum, and I don't mind the tongue. Anything else bothers me. I just have this fear of accidently snagging one and ripping it out in the heat of the moment (especially those thin little hoops). Then again, maybe I'm just too wild And yes, I hijack more threads than terrorists hijack 747s. Oh, umm... btw, congrats on the move

quote: Body piercing is not my thing. As far as IÔÇÖm concerned you can encrust your ears in silver and jewels, but anywhere else (with the possible exception of intimate areas, if it appeals to a lover) is just tasteless. ItÔÇÖs like: ÔÇ£Ooo, ÔÇÿook aÔÇÖ me, I caÔÇÖ ÔÇÿalk sÔÇÖaight ÔÇÿcuz I goÔÇÖ ÔÇÿis ÔÇÿig ÔÇÿunk oÔÇÖ ÔÇÿetal ÔÇÿuck ÔÇÿough ÔÇÿy ÔÇÿoungÔÇØ ROTFLMAO!!!! I make it a point not to put any holes in my body that I wasn't born with, but as you can probably tell most of my friends couldn't pass through a metal detector if thier lives depended on it.

The Goths around here stalk the local malls for victims or something. 13-15 year olds in Manson T-Shirts with thier faces painted white with black lip stick. Really annoying people if you ask me. I even saw a couple whipping each other in the middle of a mall once. I don't see them that much anymore, probably because I don't visit my friend at his shop's booth.
  7. quote: Well, I have played hitman 1 and Dues Ex, and while vaguely similar; hitman focuses a lot more on stealth. I would imagine that hitman 2 would be similar, though that is only a guess. Well, from playing the demo, hitman 2 is very similiar to the first one except for better graphics, more weapons, and smarter enemies. quote: Come now darling, nothing wrong with being superficially friendly, and it tends to make life ever so much easier (not to mention that it makes people think youre a nice person oh well, whatever works). Oh well, I guess being nice has it's benifits. Actually, I've been inflicted with the disease of friendliness, lately. I think I'm just getting too old to go around insulting everybody I meet these days.
  8. quote: Chummy just means friendly darling Oh gawd... that implies being nice to people. It's worse than I ever could've imagined [ 10-09-2002, 08:16 PM: Message edited by: Litvyak ]

quote: Yea, that is bad, but imagine living with a natural nocturnal who likes loud gothic music and reads net comics (while shrieking laughing) at 4 or 5am. DonÔÇÖt I sound like a fun person to be around Better than a gay stepbrother who blares Madonna... lol
  10. I don't recall ever buying a crap game, except when it's come bundled with another game that I wanted. Granted I turn in games for store credit fairly regularly, since most games even though they're cool they loose thier appeal after you beat them. And I've never had to be... ahem... 'chummy' (I don't even want to know what that means)... with the store owner to return a game. I've even returned Earth and Beyond that I got as a present without a hitch despite the fact EB has a policy against accepting returns of online games.

And listening to Dance / Trance / Techno should be a capital offense

If I may point out Alien vs. Predator 2, which was an extremely fun game, but was made using a licensed engine. Yes, AvP2 was a great game built on the Lithtech engine. However, I can't help but wonder how much money less informed consumers waste on games like Sniper each year. The last time I went into the local EB it was hard to miss the fact that a signifigant portion of shelf space is eaten by crap games that are simply designed to look cool on the box. If only there was a organization like ESRB that rated games on whether they had any worthwhile content. [ 10-09-2002, 07:11 AM: Message edited by: Litvyak ]

Listening to gothic music should be criminal.
  14. quote: ahahahaha!! someone kill me now please! Patience. We want to wait until BCO is out and running first.
  15. Hmmm... I think I'll wait for the 'Game of the Year Edition' before I pick up Sniper. The benefits of Lithtech and other engines available for liscencing is that serious developers can get great games out faster. Unfortunately, sometimes I wonder if it's worth the drawback of the flood of crap that probably never would've got made otherwise.
  16. I'm fond of the planet side ones, myself. Probably because the contrast with BCM is so readily apparant when you look at the BCG character and OC models.
  17. Wow... if only that article had some grain of truth... I'd like the Bush administration even more... lol
  18. quote: posted 10-07-2002 08:31 AM -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Just comfirmed. Un-installed game ( deleted bc3000 folder) then re-installed. Applied patch 1.0.07 from the game folder and unzipped script update files to data folder. Started new game, selected MEGARON ship. 1. First, sold all spare parts and weapons at GALCOM. 2. Purchased TA shield (noted RE's AI at 22). 3. Left station and upgraded shield to TA sheild(assigning all 10 engineers). 4. When upgrade was complete, went to bridge view where RE said "I have no idea how this thing works" and CE informed me that the shield had been repaired. 5. Went to TACOPs and selected my ship and noted shield strength of 5000 instead of 3500. Will try the other artifacts (Karanian reactor and POD) and post back when I earn more credits to do so. Reproduced and confirmed following those steps above using the Megaron and T.A. Shields. It takes about 15 minutes to test a ship/artifact combination, so I don't have time to go through them all today since it will eat up the better part of the day and I've got classwork to get done. I can start going through the other possible combinations tomorrow afternoon.
  19. Well the demo works fine and I finished the mission with 21 enemies and 3 innocents dead, earning the coveted title of mass murderer. Definitely will have to pick this one up.
  20. Well, at least I can still be funny when I'm sick Anyways, just finished downloading the demo to see how it runs on my system. I'll check it out once I'm feeling a little better.
  21. quote: ThatÔÇÖs not a price tag darling, thatÔÇÖs a bar code I can't help but get an image in my head of some cashier in Walmart ringing up a hitman... "That comes to $19.95. By the way we recommend you also get our comprehensive warranty and insurance policy... should your hitman kill you or any other wrong target you can return him no questions asked for up to 2 years... it's an additional $19.95."
  22. Viper2000, you need to download the fixed 1.0.07 scripts here. Then you need to install them properly by placing the zip file in your BCM install directory and unzipping it from there. The script update fixes the Marine issue.
  23. quote: if i have to go with a fighter i'll go witht he Phantom! ;} Bah... the Phantom is junk! Not to mention it's not good in MP, since it's kind of non-existant
  24. Oh well, maybe I should come back and revisit this thread, actually posting on topic this time Anyhow my ship of choice? Stormcarrier? Firestorm? Warmonger? I think not. The craft I prefer to take into battle is the Zodiac! Fear me and my near instantanious hyperdrive
