Thats what probes are used more mainly When you have Fleet CnC you use probes to control other ships that are within you're control (IE making a fleet in other words)

Thats why I put (bug?) because I wasn't to sure. But as you have said.. its designed that way

Hmm lets see. You'll lose EXP for the following reasons 1. If an unarmed ship is destroyed and you made NO attemp to protect it 2. If you have a probe out and a ship within that probes range is destroyed then you'll also lose exp (bug?) 3. In some situations, if a friendly armed ship is destroyed you might lose exp as well. However one thing does confuse me SC. In the GALCOM director it states that where suppost to prevent the Credians and Zelons from destroying each other... umm how are we suppost to prevent that from happening? We can't attack either one of them (unless we use our main guns) and if we tractor there ships we lose exp.. So whats the deal then? Or is the answer right in front of my nose? (Communications?)

Everyone will rebel... infact we had such a thing happen yesterday in my Career class, everyone rebeled (except me because I could careless, I'm more interested in getting that Tech Cert) against the teacher and walked out of the classroom.. end result? You're right that some parents might not be able to buy a uniform for there child, but if thats true then why did they even bother to enroll there child in a private school? OR a public school that has uniforms? I mean its common sense people if you're going to send you're child to a school that has uniforms then make sure you have the money to buy that very uniform. I think this is where it belongs... dunno... (might be wrong, don't kill me if i am) I have never encounted so many PROBLEMS just trying to change one freaking thing in my account!!!!!!!!! After cox changed e-mails on everyone (from lvcm to cox.net) I had to go into my account and change my e-mail. Well I stopped playing the game after awhile and decided to return, I go back and put my password in... "Account or password incorrect" Ok... interesting.... I know my account name is correct, and I thought I had my password correct, so naturaly I go to there tech support and request a new password I come to find out that my e-mail DIDN'T change when I changed it several months ago!!!!! So its STILL lvcm.com Great huh? Stupid account system... well Tech support tells me to contact them by phone so I can get this fixed.. cool right?... wrong... THERE NUMBER ISN'T EVEN IN SURVICE!!!!!!! I called 9 times already and STILL get the same thing, Geez if I had known I was going to have THIS much trouble I would've used a 3 digit password = So right now I connected them again about it, and no response at all... Esh...

OP2 is freeware, meaning you can freely make copys of it now *Sierra no longer supports it, and infact it doesn't even 'exist' technicaly*

Ya know, I just found out that OP3 is FINALLY in developement by some group.. Do a search on goggle for 'Outpost 3' (without the ' ) Quite interesting really, I know it'll be about 3 or 4 years before its out. Good luck trying to find an authentic copy, Ebay doesn't have any last I checked The best I could do for you JCMan, would be for me to burn a copy of my OP2 disk and send it to ya

I think he means "Do you want my copy of Outpost 2" Why ANYONE would want to sell there copy of OP2 right now is beyond me, that game is already worth a lot of money at my local EB (there's a person who wants the game for $900 ) I havn't put mine up for sale cause... I LOVE THIS GAME! And I ain't going to sell it!

Vertex Shader is part of the graphic ENGINE for the game... Therefor the answer is a no, unless SC says otherwise...

If I recall, the SC said something about decals and such for BC Online for the fleets and player org's, but I can't recall where he said that (IE, what thread) Can you possible elaborate on this SC? I remember you said it I just remember when/where (and please don't shoot me if I'm completly wrong)

Try the compatibility mode, personaly I don't need it But on my old computer I had to use it

Blasted it SC! You just gave out MY secret to assaulting a base = *Sigh* now the newbs will surely try this =( The only difference in mine is that I land my CC about 9 KM from the base but everything else is basicly the same (I add vehicles to mine though for extra fun )

Very old game indeed and, beleave or not, still one of the games I play to this day Its a 35 megabyte game with 30 campaign levels 15 for both sides, Plymoth(good guys) and Eden(bad guys), its a cool game. Gamespy gave it a very low score, a 5.5 at the time however from what I have heard they never bothered to go indepth into the game To be honest this was the very first game that got me into playing multiplayer (and, if I remember, it was the ONLY game of its time that HAD multiplayer) Hardly anything is left of this game on the net, all the informative sites are shut down. Nothing exists, its as if this game was never created... I have two copys of this game though, one in the safe (All nice and clean its plastic rap still on the box ) and the one I'm using now (with a strached up CD that STILL works) The reason I still play this game is because I've been able to tweak the AI, before the AI was hard... now its competative (almost impossible to beat unless you have a steady resource base located AWAY from the fighting) This game is sorta like micromanage but not that much. It can be boring at times, (even I will admite) but trust me, The campaign, at times, can be very intense and make you rushing to get a building made, or get that sattalite into orbit before the blight reachs you The blight - an infection agent that was 'accidently' released by eden as a terreforming agent (in other words.. think of the RANDOM), granted it DOES terreform the planet, however its a living being that kills anything in its path (humans, machines.. you name it) Theres storys that go along with EACH mission, but I don't think I will post them unless you guys want me to (note, there are 157 pages worth of storys that match the campaign.. A LOT)

Ummm Its not a problem last I checked, even my pilots tend to not destroy stuff from time to time(and there AI 80 right now), however most of the time they do destroy what ever I tell them to (except a station of course) Just because they have a high AI doesn't mean they'll destroy everything in there path. Test your pilots out on small fry (stationary targets like transports when they first jump into the region)
