  1. I'd just like to pop into the fighter to check out their status -- kinda seeing things from their vantage point, rather than trudge all the way down to the launch bays, suit up, and get into a fighter... Waiting for those turbolifts can be boring! 8-) Is what I'm requesting even possible?
  2. How do I jump into a craft that's already launched from my carrier? For example, I'd like to be able to launch a fighter from my carrier (with my AE NOTon board the fighter), then jump into the cockpit of the fighter and pilot it down to a planet to have a look around.
  3. RED SHIRT!? RED SHIRT!?!?!!! You've got to admit, that picture has "commander" written all over it! Red shirt... (excuse me... I've got to go down to the planet with Kirk now)
  4. My BCM disk lives in the CDROM drive most of the time, too. Especially since RETURN TO CASTLE WOLFENSTEIN (the other game I'm currently playing) doesn't need its CD in the drive to play. So, a typical gaming night for me is: Some Wolfenstein for a while, then a LONG time in BCM before bedtime. Good stuff.
  5. Derek... You wanted to see a shot! Here it is... What do you think?
  6. Here's my pic... Perhaps some more work to do on it -- most likely a cool space-ship-looking background instead of the blank background. What do you think? I like the way the neck of the uniform looks... Haven't tried it in-game yet (til I get home!)...
  7. I saw $ilk's screenshots featuring his own image in The Game, and am wondering how to do that myself. Can someone help?
  8. Cool. I'm glad to hear it... I've got no intention of playing the game on my work machine, I'm just impatient to see it, and I won't get home for another 5 hours this evening.
  9. I've got a Belkin Nostromo and would recommend it highly. However, I haven't played BCM on it just yet, so cannot comment on that. One feature of the Nostromo that will be nice for BCM is the ability to SHIFT keysets -- each key on the keypad can be assigned THREE different values, and the user can select between those sets. The Nostromo is worth a buy.
  10. Well, I know that BCM validates using the code number... I'd hate for it to NOT install at home!
  11. Subject line says it all... Can I install BCM at the office to check it out then RE-INSTALL it at home again (where I will play it the rest of the time)?
  12. Woo hoo! Got mine today as well. Congratulations to Derek and the team for getting this out! It looks good -- the keyboard template, the sleek 76 page (!?!) manual, and the CD... I only wish that the CD was in a real Jewel Case, since I've got to rip my registration code to get the envelope open. Other than that, it looks awesome and I cannot wait to get home late tonight to play it some!
  13. Apparently, the shipping date is slippery. EBGames USED to say that it would ship on the 16th, then the 17th (when I called my local EB, they told me that New Releases are NEVER shipped on a Saturday), then today's check at EBGames.COM says that it will ship the 19th. A call to my local store tells me that it *should* (their emphasis) be there on 11-20. PHEW!
