I just purchased BC3000k yesterday, and I have upgraded by using your downloads. The game looks great but there is one problem, I cannot get my joystick to work at all. I have a Thrustmaster attack throttle with top gun joystick and elite foot pedals. No matter what joystick I select, it wont work. I tried to follow your directions and select the thrustmaster FCS from the game controls window in the control panel but my computer just keeps showing that the selected joystick is not connected.I have tried to remove my joystick off the list and the FCS still shows no connection. Any suggestions? Please!!

Does your joystick work in other games? I had trustmaster topgun once and it didn't work, because it was broken . Well I'm not saying this is your case but check to see if it works in other games.

If it works, you want to try this...

Or if that dosen't work like you said, just use your original profile and select a joystick in the config menu that match your joystick.

*NOTE: If you do everything correctly joystick will work in BC3K. WHY? Because the same thing happened to me, after reading the FAQ I got it to work.

Thanks for your help spacephish, but I have already tried to change my controller but when I try to calibrate it, an error message comes up telling me that the controller is not connected properly and I need to make sure it is connected to the computer. It is of course connected. Also my joystick system works fine in all my other games but this one.

Delete the joystick.set and setup.cfg files. The first one sets the joystick values. The second one sets the joystick type. Then, select one of the joysticks from the FAQ, that closely matches what you have. Just like what SpacePhish suggested.
