cant run bc3k.BAT

i have bc3000ad v2.00 and i set up the sound card and the configuration settings but i dont know where or how to set up the video card. i have a 3Dfx Voodoo3 2000 PCI card. once i click on bc3k.bat the screen goes black as if the game is running fine. then im kicked back to the desktop with this message, "This program has perfomed an illegal operation and will be terminated. Quit all programs, and restart your computer. If the program consistently encounters problems, click the Start button, then select Help, Troubleshooting, and 'if you have trouble running MS-DOS programs.'" so, like it told me to, i checked out troubleshooting and it didnt help me at all. if anyone has any idea what i need to do to get this fixed so i can start flyin', please tell me. thanks

First, read the BC3K FAQ. You may find your answers there.

If no help is found there, post your system specs. Can't do much for you without them.

Krickett, I recommend you to upgrade the game to version 2.09 then download and install map pak (remember to run the patches IN the same folder where you installed the game) and then download 3dfxdrivers and extract the zip in the game install folder.

And remember to follow the link that aramike gave to you. (I think I'm in a VERY good mood today.)

2. You shouldn't be running bc3k.bat directly. You should be running the BC3K 3DFX icon that was created by the install program.

3. Install the Voodoo3 drivers on the downloads page.
