Game shutdown

Ok Commanders,

Iam not sure what is going on but lately when I am playing (I have versoin 2.09)the game with shut completely down on me right in them middle of something. It really dosen't matter what I am trying to do. Like just minute ago I was in TACOPS trying to observe a plant, I was zooming in on the surface and click game shuts down and I am back at my desk top. What is up with that? It is getting to be very frustrating.

Second, lately I can't seem to get my TACOPS to pull up to "observe" options on a moon or plant so the surface screen will appear. I could do this about aweek ago. I am not sure if it is me or the game. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Rod, for your crash problem, you might want to search the forum for problems like yours. I'm pretty sure you're not the first to encounter them.

As for you not being able to observe a planet/moon, try reinstalling the game this way.

1. Install from 2.0x cd.

2. Patch to 2.08 or 2.09

3. Install mappak

Anyway, you may want to try again from scratch. Uninstall and delete everything BC3K related, including the patch and the mappak (if you've downloaded it). You may have simply a corrupt (bad) patch.

Try this, and if it doesn't work, post again with your system specs.
