freezes

if i setup the sound for bc3k it freezes about 2 minutes into the game. also ive downloaded and installed all the patches needed for 2.9 but it still says that i have 2.7. game runs fine without sound.

What video card do you have?

Are they built into the motherboard? (if you know)

Are you running the standard BC3K or the 3dfx BC3K?

Have you searched the board, no date restrictions, for your problem?

Have you read the FAQ?

If it still says 2.7, then you didn't patch it properly. Uninstall, re-install, setup sound, patch up to 2.09 properly by reading the FAQ

i have a pentium 3 555 mhz with 64 megs of ram. i have some weird crystal sound fusion sound card but the sound worked fine in the test with soundblaster. i have no idea if it is built into the motherboard and im not running in 3dfx mode because my graphics card doesnt support it. i also got the patches to work so i have ver. 2.09
