It's been less than one week and oh boy am I having fun...I love this game but I'm experiencing a serious problem with restoring saved games. When I select a saved game from the restore menu, I get a black screen and the computer locks up. Only a reboot will bring it back to life.It does look like it's a problem with my Voodoo 5 5500 AGP card not wanted to sync back with 3D after going into a 2D screen. The same thing happens if I go to the config screen from the bridge, then hit either abort or save.This EXACT issue was discussed in an old thread I found here: http://www.3000ad.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/000482.html It looks like it was either never resolved, or the answer was never posted. Gallion and Vorpal, did you guys ever succeed in finding a fix?My system specs:Microstar K7 motherboard, VIA chipset Athlon 1 GHz THunderbird 256 MB RAM SoundBlaster Live! 30 GB hard drive, ATA 66My workaround for now is to play and save normally. When I want to restore a game, I restart the game in software mode, restore the desired game, then quit and restart in 3DFX mode. Then I can hit continue and all is well. Not to worry - BCM + Voodoo5 5500 = extremely pleasurable gaming exprience.
