How Low can you Go!

Well this probably isn't the best place to start a thread but here goes. And if this thread is a duplicate I humbly apologise in advance.

I am just interested in what computers people are running BC3K v2.9 on, in terms of low spec rather than high. The reason I say this is that I have been running with Windows 2k on all 3 of my computers for about a year.

having been waiting for BCM for a while and seeing it nearing completion I decided to reinstall BC3k V2 and relearn all that I had forgotten.

Well we know that it doesn't work under win 2k, or at least for me, even with that D£D hack The SC did, so I was stuck for a machine to run it on. But genius that I am I dug out an old laptop which I knew had win95 on it. A 2GB HDD, 32 MG Ram and a CD rom , should work shouldn't it.

And it did very slowly but perfectly stable and playable. 10FPS at best dropping to 2 or 3 under severe combat situations.

SO the speck of my lowly Laptop,

AN HP Omnibook 5500

P133

32MB RAM

2GB HDD

4x CDROM

1MB Chips and Technologies 655XX card.

I thought the 1MB graphics card would let me down as it is below the minimum speck, but no it works fine.

Who said BC3K had problems!!! As for know, I rebuilt my main machine to triple boot Win98SE, w2k Pro and W2k Server. Under 98 I know get 50fps, so I can have even more fun. Can't wait to get me mits on BCM, I just know it will rock.
