Character problem with BC 2.09?

After about 30 minutes of playing the game, BC will suddenly quit to desktop, when I turn it on again I cannot load the character I was using, or any of the savegames pertaining to it they all just quit me to dektop right as they are loading. I have to make a new character. It makes the game kinda less fun.

btw: This is the freeware verion off the underdogs.

If the game is corrupt, you won't be able to load it.

Any reason why the games would corrupt though? Any idea would be nice.

If the game crashes, the files could be corrupt. doh!

Its either the install, or your video drivers. (could be video/motherboard also)

I know my Kyro2 will kick me out every once in a while, especially when i transition from a planet to space. The result is that,

If the game is not shut down correctly you wont have save game.

You should create a character, start the game, and immidiately save and exit (then restart). that way at least something will remain.

What is your OS, CPU/Motherboardand Video card?

Then save often thereafter.

I'd like to add to Hellbinder's list, list the amount of RAM you have.

And read the faq, and... and.... . Search the other threads. Good tips there.

Okay, the exact error it gives me is:

NULL region in draw_all()
