Question about Artificial Intelligence and future updates

What is the quickest way to raise crew Artificial Intelligence?

I know for pilots sending them out on a mission that does not get them killed works, but what about the other crewmembers?

And, the current release V2.09, is that final release? Or will there be future updates?

I'm not complaining about the current release, if there won't be any new ones I will just go back to playing Battle Cruiser and buy Millennium when it's released, I just want to know if I should keep checking.

Just like you said, get them to work, meaning having them on-station. Doesn't matter if you have, i.e your flight engineers drink coffee on the job all day until they bulge. AI will rise. Experience?, that should sound obvious, they really have to have done something for that to increase. And it isn't directly measureable by a number somewhere, like on perscan. You should only be able to notice in shorter task durations.

You might want to assign your marines to search duty and when they enter the library, barricade the doors.

2.09 is THE latest version, of BC3K. The SC scuttled the old gall sometime last year? Or 1999? Don't know, but BCM or no BCM, she's a legend. And I for one will make sure she's treated like that. In a recent development diary the SC said he will release the sourcecode to the gall with a book he's writting, so I don't know what the future holds with regard to future updates. But I'm pretty sure, if any, they won't come from him.
