Question on OTS

I play alot of BC3KAD but i never used the OTS weapons untill now when i got to the TOD3 M1/5. I fired 7 OTS weapons at the moon all of them on a different spot but non of them hit. Is there a special way and/or position where you have to fire from. (I think yes because the moon is round.) If you know a way. Please tell because i think the OTS weapons are cool. (no i'm not a crazy killer, but i'm close because the grammulan sector is my hunting ground.) I think the RANDOM weapon would work better but i think it would be bad for my rep if i do. Thanx you.

PS. Not sure if there been a previous post on this topic before. I searched "OTS" but got back every single topic that was up. That was strange. I'm new, but i played BC3kAD for a long time now.

First, you should set up a close orbit to the planet. Somewhere less than 300, should do. Once I fired it on a moon, and forgot to get close, and the missiles exploded partway there.

After I fire my OTS missiles, I go to back to the TacOps Space View, and zoom in, watching the missiles fly towards the planet.... Pretty dramatic, especially if it's a Random!

Soon you will see a cutseen with the camera closing in on the place of impact, and then you see the location blow up.

Somehow it doesn't matter what side of the planet or moon you fire it....
