You can't. Whatever gave you the idea that you could? I know for a fact thats not in the manual.

Being the NWW (Newbie Welcome Wagon), I'll give you the info, instead of having you search mindlessly through the manual. I'm doing this because people out there have been mistaking the manual pages.... How? Beats the hell out of me....

(RP)

"Go to page 25."

"Nope. Nothing there. It's the page with the pictures of the pilots at the top, right?"

"No, no, no!!! That's page 55... I said 25."

"Okay...... Hm.. It's got "5.3 LOGISTIX Computer" at the top... This page doesn't help a bit."

"Grrr.. IIRC, that's page 37. Are you sure you know how to read English? Or even just numbers?"

"*mumbles*..."

"*sigh* Why should I even bother....."

(/RP)

You can't equip different weapons on your AE (Alter-Ego; as in, your character). A commander is limited to what he's got. So are the marines you come with. This means you can't change their weapons as well. (If I'm correct.... <ahttp://www.3000ad.com/forum/uploads/emoticons/default_happy.png' alt='^_^'>; ) If you are a commander, first-person weapons are only for trade purposes only.

Welcome aboard. Now go register the game, put your system profile link in your sig (see here for help on this), and get ready for a wild ride! See you in multiplayer.

Nova, over and out.

Disclaimer: The Role Play (RP) bit

at the top is purely fiction. Any similarities

to actual events or people, living or dead,

are completely coincidental. As you were, cadets.

Depending on the career, you will have access to several weapons and items.

That indicates that not all careers can use all weapons/items and as this falls under the “The First Person Careers” I can fairly well guarantee that commanders only have access to the very basics. This is not Star Trek or some such, commanders are expected to command not go galavanting around while your CC floats aimlessly above.

Heh, looks like we came down hard on that one! Must type faster! Don't worry too much Phantom, you really aren't being singled out here...too much.

Yeah, if you give him enough Vacpaks to sniff first.
