papabear Posted February 5, 2002 Report Posted February 5, 2002 how do I return my space marines back to my ship
Guest Grayfox Posted February 5, 2002 Report Posted February 5, 2002 before we get flamed for answering you, youd best put youre system info in your sig. check out this thread here to see how to do it. it is fairly simple. until you do that, you wont get a response. cheers!
Supreme Cmdr Posted February 5, 2002 Report Posted February 5, 2002 quote:Originally posted by Grayfox: before we get flamed for answering you, cheers!Flamed?? You mean posting rights restricted, don't you?
Guest Grayfox Posted February 5, 2002 Report Posted February 5, 2002 sir aye aye sir, thats what i meant figure id be a newbie catcher and give the rest of you hard workin CO's a rest lol
Shadow_Wolf33 Posted February 6, 2002 Report Posted February 6, 2002 space marines...yuck...those guys always leave a big mess on the window of my fighter whenever I go out and test my new bumper on them. The stations should really send those guys out with a giant rubber ball around them. I can just see it now... [RP] *fighter whacks into a space marine* Pilot 1 - "hey he bounced off!! the bugger didn't die! I'm gonna go shoot him up!" Pilot 2 - "don't waste your time, he's headed for the atmosphere of jupiter." Space marine "HAHA!! suckers!! ya didn't kill me!!" *looks behind him* "oh crap!! you sons of --" *marine craters on impact* [/RP]
Guest Grayfox Posted February 7, 2002 Report Posted February 7, 2002 ya hehe as you hear the light hissing sound of oxygen escaping your cabin thru the hairline crack in your windshield as we always used to say before starting a match of XvT "may my dead ejecting body break thru your windshield"
weegee_101 Posted February 7, 2002 Report Posted February 7, 2002 Might I ask how you got your space marines outside of your ship??? Is there something I'm missing, I'd better go check the VCF...
Guest Grayfox Posted February 7, 2002 Report Posted February 7, 2002 errr i believe hes talkin aboot the Space force marines. they start outside whatever star station you base at (in space). hehehe in space... no one can hear me scream
weegee_101 Posted February 7, 2002 Report Posted February 7, 2002 Currently you can't dispatch or retrieve your Space Force Marines. Suggestion, RTFM.
Guest Grayfox Posted February 7, 2002 Report Posted February 7, 2002 ok for the record SC he answered him, i didnt lol
Guest Grayfox Posted February 8, 2002 Report Posted February 8, 2002 quote:Originally posted by Cmdr WeeGee: Currently you can't dispatch or retrieve your Space Force Marines. Suggestion, RTFM. ummm yes you can dispatch your on ship SF marines into space. I wont post here because 1) the originator of the thread does not have his sys info in his sig , and 2) by explaining to you how to do it i would be thus explaining it to him and would have my posting rights revoked... which aint gonna happen cause i dont intend on doin it. all i will say is it CAN be done... suggestion RTFM
weegee_101 Posted February 8, 2002 Report Posted February 8, 2002 Huh... I read on an earlier Post that SFM cannot be deployed from your ship. I'm checking the manual right now.
Eclipse Posted February 8, 2002 Report Posted February 8, 2002 I was unable to find out from the manual how to do it, but I did find a way to deploy them, unfortunately I too have been unable to find out how to retrive them.
weegee_101 Posted February 8, 2002 Report Posted February 8, 2002 Um... Could someone send me in the direction on how to deploy them?
Guest Grayfox Posted February 8, 2002 Report Posted February 8, 2002 gimme your email weeg, and ill send you how, as for retrieveing them, i really havent tried... they always end up dying on me in combat
R_wilco Posted February 8, 2002 Report Posted February 8, 2002 Can someone email me how to deploy them? Sounds like a cool trick. [email protected]
Guest Grayfox Posted February 8, 2002 Report Posted February 8, 2002 hehe will do it is pretty cool. although like i asi, i never tried recalling them because theyd get into a scrap and wind up dying before i could retreive them lol.
Shadow_Wolf33 Posted February 8, 2002 Report Posted February 8, 2002 what would be the point of deploying them? so far they seem to be quite useless when deployed by a station..and what exactly would their little pea shooter be able to do against a cc?? admittedly it would probably rip a person to shreds...but a ship 50,000 times their size?? I don't think so....maybe as decoys...but still...I wouldn't even waste my time with them...rather keep em on board searching for intruders
weegee_101 Posted February 9, 2002 Report Posted February 9, 2002 Hey, Resnig looks like a marine... Maybe we can deploy him too Space him out the airlock... Has anyone tried an extract team waypoint command? Maybe that'll retrieve them. I'll try it tonight after I get off D-Link Tech Support (Ughhhh).
Guest Remo Williams Posted February 9, 2002 Report Posted February 9, 2002 quote:Originally posted by Shadow_Wolf33: what would be the point of deploying them? Target practice when theres no one to fight. Try blasting them with vagrants, the sound they make is to cool!
Eclipse Posted February 9, 2002 Report Posted February 9, 2002 Weegee, I tried setting waypoints and even going out in the shuttle myself to retrieve them... to bad I was only able to retrieve that corpses of the Flight Engineer and SFM after they refused to follow a dirrect order to Evac.
weegee_101 Posted February 9, 2002 Report Posted February 9, 2002 Doubt it would work, but what about Transporter system evac?
Eclipse Posted February 9, 2002 Report Posted February 9, 2002 You can't evac with transporter either... I don't believe that you can transport anywhere other than to a planet anyway. I say that because I tried to deploy them into space using the transporter... it didn't let me.
Guest Grayfox Posted February 9, 2002 Report Posted February 9, 2002 wont let you evac em either using the transporter. tried that last night... tried everything my little brain could think of... maybe you should just leave em there and buy new ones
