EF and others Assets How do you repair downed asset?

I'm currently suck my Asset is grounded and I cann't repair it. I have been a fierce battle again and once my engine blowup I was grounded. How do you get that asset back to the hanger for repairs when ground and no engine.

depends what your asset is

if it is a CC, use one of the shuttles to fly somewhere, buy an engine, and fly back and install it. if you have a fighter or something, i wouldnt know

get out and start walkin to the next starbase and hope they have one

ask nice and they might lend you a hand cart to wheel the thing back to your ship

Hope you have money! You might have to tow it. If you have no shuttle or can't launch it you gotta hoof it and buy one.

Too tired to look in the F'Manual to help recall whether or not you can request a tow from planetside.

Either way... dude, that sucks.

coolness as for your question, if its your cc you might be lucky enough to tow it out with a SC IF the SC can make it that far down without being destroyed. i think there is a time limit though on how long a ship can stay in water... i think you have only a few minutes before the ship starts to sink, then a few more after that before the ship is destroyed. so when she starts a sinkin, you better be hoppin in a SC and start towing her out of the water
