As soon as you hear that you have intruders on board simply turn the power off to the launch control! Hahaha they will tear off running toward the launch bays. Once there tell your marines to go to the bays. and send 2 marines to the medibay because the intruders often stop off to heal. then all ya have to do is wait. Your marines will eventually kick there butts. I have not yet lost a vehicle with this method. Also REMEMBER to check everything when you bring a cargo pod on board. Illegal Items get you in trouble at GHQ. And i was riding around for hours trying to figure out how i had 11,000,000 in inventory?!?!?! low and behold i had some extremely expensive Weaponry in the cargo hold i didnt know about. I sold it and now im RICH! Dont forget to check all your Inventory for non-essential stuff to sell. I have had this game since it was running in DOS long ago, I love it! im with the niche! However...... Peoples at 3000AD.... Get those CTD's under control!!! its quite frustating! Reminds me of the first game with all the crashes in a way. But not nearly as bad. At least all works now for the most part Saving lots will help the pain. Just remember if you DONT SAVE YOU DONT PLAY.

I have been a supporter of BC3000AD for a long time. I have purchased at least 3 copies of this software for friends.?????? I already attempted to put my info in. Im waiting on a response from 3000AD because my wife threw my CDKEY away after I registered. So its not going to get put in until i get a CDKEY. I sure would like to know how im supposed to get a better system then a Dell GX240 1.5 ghz 256 megs of ram and a geforce GTS pro???? I know there is better out there but geez. Is that not sufficient enough to run this game? Im a newbie to the NEW version of BCM, but hardly new to computers. I manage about 8 Million dollars worth of computer equipment. I would like to know if you guys are Employee's of 3000AD or just users of the product? please say your just users because i would really hate to see these comments coming from employee's.

Most of us are not part of 3000AD, but are fans, just as you are. If you need tech support, there's a few things you must do: [*]Register the game (follow the link on the top of the main page) [*]Apply all patches (I know this sounds stupid, but it's often overlooked) [*]Put your system profile info at the bottom of your sig (instructions are in the forum archives) [*]Read the FAQ and VCF first (there's lots of helpful info there) [*]If it still CTDs, post about it in the Tech support forum. [*]Mind your Ps and Qs Welcome to the world of Battlecrusier! (wait, that's Nova's job )

If you're really in need for a CD-Key because you really lost yours, you'll have to wait for Derek to help you. Finally, we're just users. Diehard users. Although Gallion did create the Appendix, he's just a loyal fan of sorts. 3000AD is a small company. If you find the little bit in the back few pages of the manual, you'll see. I wasn't complaining nor did i need tech support(thus why i didnt post there) I CTD about once a day. Especially when i try something really freaky to see what i can get away with. I have been a diehard fan since the original version shipped in the silver box embossed with the MK3, and the kickin intro i might add. Battlecruiser is without question what i dreamed of in a simulation. Being ex-navy (US) i can appreciate the multitude of tasks nescessary to complete a successful mission. The game is so limitless i love it as much as the next guy. I did really lose my CD-KEY after i had registered it, so im hoping that someone has it on file,and give it to me, and i will promptly enter my Sysinfo. I was going to do that when i discovered it missing and had to interrogate my wife for 30 minutes and place her in the detention hold along with two marines. If anyone would be so kind as to email me the KEY i would be most appreciative(you can get my email addy from the profile). At least the CDKEY was deleted out of my user INFO! LOL. Im flying a firestorm now i absolutely love the Nightstars Looks though (True to NAVY form). I was very frustrated at first with the Intruders but promptly figured it out. I can play for Hours but about 1 out of every 12 saves or so results in a CTD or lock up. To me that is minimal and tolerable as long as i dont lose the whole thing. They have come so far with this game from the original. I am so glad they kept the Interface relatively the same. As for the "Tone it down a notch comment", im not here to start a fight? Complain, or cause trouble. Im entirely to old for that. Last but not least..... I AM HAPPY TO PAY FOR THIS PRODUCT. games like these dont come around often and by people BUYING this game we will get future products from 3000ad. For the 3000AD people You guys/gals keep it up! This dream wont end anytime soon. Excellent come back team.

You obviously used a CDKEY when you registered to post or you wouldn't have been approved. Since you know something about comp systems, you know the plethora of quantum particles and quasi-murphy variables that can cause a system to crash. Some stay latent for a until something like BCM comes along to show you just how slooow or quirky your once kickass top (or near) of the line system really is. Been there, done that, t-shirt didn't sell. I am familiar with the venerable GF2 GTS Pro. Have one sitting in my desk drawer collecting dust and cobwebs. Your system is fine for BCM - for a Dell , replacing the GTS Pro with either a GF3 or a GF4 v-card - NOT any of them there cheap MX versions either - will go a long way towards eliminating the cause of your CTDs. WRT harshness, that was rather mild. I was contemplating sending the post into the bit-bucket but didn't 'cause this is the Newbie forum. Like i said i have purchased several copies for friends as well I upgraded to the 1006 patch and have not had one single problem. The only thing i see is when you go chasing an enemy on the other side of the planet you automaticly go to the surface. In my case.......IT WAS SATURN! OUCH!!! took me 1 hour to repair all my systems to 100% LOL! the 1006 patch looks good! anyway its in the [email protected] mailbox. Ill resend it just to make sure! thanks for all your help! if you cant get it.. no biggy ill just buy another copy HEHEH that doesnt mean not to look please HAHAHA Im in a megaron now.. i wanted to start fresh with the new patch and not bring in my old stuff. Its not so bad, just ugly... but as they say about the american A-6 intruder... UGLY BUT WELL HUNG. On the duplicate thing. As well priced as this software is there is no need to pirate it. Plus i like reading the manuals! As a matter of fact all the REVIEWS talk about how thorough the manual is. And a quick comment on the graphics thing that i have seen kicked around by reviewers. The grpahics are just fine.. Gameplay is what its all about. Anyone remeber the old game called Starflight? it was 2D very old but at the time rocked for gameplay. When i was very very young... eons ago i almost failed 9th grade because of a game called ELITE for the commodore 64... anyone remember it? Thanks again guys

She decided to clean the bedroom and my workstation area! shes saw the little white sleeve and said "Must be trash". Unfortunately she thinks all CD's belong in jewel cases... Keyword being 'JEWEL' as in diamond, woman etc.etc you know the routine. I still have my registration info and password if you need that. I sent it with my request to cat@3000ad.

Jerrai Posted March 11, 2002 Report Posted March 11, 2002 Intruder's Golden Rule - Steal everything that isn't tied down, and take a crowbar for the things that are. thought it fits for intruders, but we'd need a new alert for Resnig. and the crew would need a tiedown command in Tactical->Crew "Priority One Alert - We have intruders on board. Assigning marines to search detail. Update - They are armed with crowbars, attack with extreme prejudice."
