Crew Ranks

Just out of curiousity, what are the ranks of the command crew?

Officially, I don't believe they're ranked. They're just... The ranks of the positions they're in. Like their rank would be "Chief Engineer of the GCV-Blah". I guess. Like I said, I don't believe they have official "rank" ranks.

But, for RP, IIRC, there is a certain order of succession in the event the commander is unable to remain at his post.

They all have internal ranks which are not exposed to you. I didn't finish fleshing them all out and won't until BCO.

But they're all high ranking officers. Well, except maybe for Resnig, who's just, well, high.

Here's the Stalker's command crew :

Commanding officer : Commander Epsilon 5

Tactical officer (TO) : Lieutenant-Commander Tar Nihar

Navigation officer (NO) : Major Tania Bennet

Flight officer (FO) : Lieutenant-Commander Peter Carter

Communication officer (CMO) : 1st lieutenant Kate Johnson

Chief Engineer (CE) : Major Thomas Wilson

Combat officer (CO) : Major Ariane Lee Walker

Medical officer (MO) : 2nd lieutenant Leandra Greenland

I used the 1rst and 2nd lieutenant because I needed to show a difference or ranking that was required (IMHO) but which was hardly possible using the limited rank matrix. I suppose both are officially lieutenants, but internally they are slightly different. I even say one of my FE is 3rd lieutenant. the rest are ensigns, or marines (using the current marine rank matrix)

BTW althought most will say otherwise, but I prefer to say my TO is my 2nd in command, and my FO 3rd in command.
