I suppose this is the safest place to discuss this, Blades, I hope the SC doesn't fire me outta the Airlock on the General Forum smile.gif

Ok, we're going to talk ops, special operations, black operations you name it. I'm not going into great detail, cause that kind of defeats the idea of the Black Ops crews, but I'd like to hear from anyone who's in Orion who's in the Tsunami BattleGroup or unassigned who thinks they have what it takes to go into SpecOps.

So, start yakking folks, but I warn you, I'm a hard task-master. wink.gif

Special ops personel are called to active duty by the Fleet Intelligence Officer when an operation that requires a low profile is sanctioned by the Fleet Commander only. Those recruited into Special Ops are done so on an assignment basis only. Whatever group affiliation you presently have, you may be drafted in from time to time to undertake these ops. Very few commanders will ever be assigned to Special Ops on a full time basis, and nobody in the fleet currently warrants that.

Those commanders that get assignment to the Special Ops group will be privy to classified info, including a detailed code system to help keep our business clandestine. Any commander found divulging this info to the enemy, or anyone outside of Special Ops will be brought up on charges of treason.

Ok gang, here is the final draft of who's who and who does what in the Orion Fleet. Please note, this details only the senior commanders in the organisation.

Fleet Commander Savage.

Commander, Orion Fleet

Commander, Orion Starstation

Tsunami Battle Group Daywatch Commander

Commander Greg Miller

Executive Officer, Orion Fleet

Tsunami Battle Group Nightwatch Commander

Commander Joseph Bosch

Overall third in Command of the Orion Fleet

Logistics Officer

In no particular order of importance (As in chain of command) the following staff officers are vital to the continual success of the fleet.

Commander Darrien Wolfe

Fleet Intelligence Officer

Commander, Rockwell Starbase

Commander David Foss

Commanding Officer, Deterrence Battle Group

Commander, Vanguard Starbase

Commander Carlton

Ground Operations Officer

Commanding Officer, Deathbringer Battle Group

Commander, Hereford Starbase

Commander James Hamblin

Commanding Officer, Galatea Exploration Wing

The above are the most vital command positions currently filled within the fleet. Several others exist, but are currently vacant. Candidates are currently under review, but the process takes its time because I want to place people with the right skills and attitude to them. You dont just get assigned because you are active. You dont get assigned because you are eager. Everyone who has been placed thus far has had to earn the position and respect of their fellows. We dont just randomly place people in this fleet, we work out who is right for the position before placing them.

Hopefully, I've chosen well here. As such, there will be no alterations to the current set up and placement. Additions may be made in the future. Keep active, keep busy and above all, keep the faith. smile.gif

Good work, Commander. In the future, if I have any questions about mating behaviour, I'll know where to go - Captain Kathryn Janeway.
