CIOPS stands for Central Intelligence OperationS.Everything that was going to happen with SCID is now going to happen with CIOPS.CIOPS is the counter-intelligence and counter-Insurgency and Interrogation Agency for all of the systems outside of Earth space.------------------ Fleet Cmdr. Cmdr Ristar Posted March 23, 2000 Author Report Posted March 23, 2000 I am going to use this as an official means of announcing fleet business and promotions.I was going to leave this as a voluntary matter, but I am trying to work out a structure, if anyone has a problem with their appointments get with me and we'll work it out, but I think that this works out for the best.Tringad, you are ISS Vice Fleet Commander and Tactical Support Wing Commander. Tac Support HQ is moved to the ISS Fleet Mars Regional Support & Command Facility (SB2-Mars), you are the CO of that base, you can assign your CSO.Bader, you are appointed Director, CIOPS. CIOPS HQ is moved to Luna Gloria (MZ 28-Moon). You are the CO of the base and you can assign your CSO.Jamont, you remain Intel & Espionage Wing Commander , Intel Wing's HQ is ISS MZ-Alpha (MZ 22-Earth), you are the base CO, and you can assign your CSODilvorn, you remain Defense Wing Commander, Defense Wing's HQ is ISS MZ-Beta (MZ 36-Mars), you are base CO, and you can assign your CSO.Ben, you are hereby appointed Director, CIOPS Directorate of Training and Administration in addition to your duties as Fleet Recruiter, and Adjutant. As we fill more slots within ISS, you can relenquish some of those titles if you wish. Since your Directorate is in charge of Training for ISS and CIOPS, you are the CO for Starpoint Starbase on Titan. Starpoint also serves as ISS' Tactical Operations Center, but that is just a facility on the base. I gave Ben CO status there because of the Directorate he has, and it was logical sense, and most the other players in the role playing world are already CO's of a base.Cmdr.Ryker you are appointed Director, CIOPS Directorate of Operations. Cmdr. Bader is your Wing Commander.Cmdr.Aeothon Freefox you are appointed Director, CIOPS Directorate of Intelligence. Cmdr Bader is your Wing Commander.I need all ISS personnel to try to post to the forum at least once or twice a week so I can spread some of these responsibilities around.If anyone has an objection to anything in this post, let me know.------------------ Fleet Cmdr.
