DeOsprey
Question: Does pre loading 3d models on clients have any beneficial affect on the server side? For example, less lag and better performance seen by other clients on the server. Thanks Osp.
Supreme Cmdr
Why would models loaded on your client have anything to do with the server?

Well obviously it doesnÔÇÖt. I have had no problems on the UC servers, but I had that option turned on for SP and was just curious if it had any benefits in MP other than just on my client. Anyway thanks for the answer and thanks for not wackin me with that big preloaded stick you be carrying around.
Supreme Cmdr
The only benefit it will have on the server, is if the server has it turned on. I have it turned off on all the servers as it does increases the server start time in the event of a crash or shutdown. The public mp servers are pretty fast, so 3D model loading is not an issue. You asked a valid question, so no whacking. This time.
