Guest tictoc Posted September 22, 2000 Report Posted September 22, 2000 Hi guys, my mate's ship got crippled and he asked me how he can request a tow, but i could not see it anywhere in the menu ( as was suggested in the manual )any help?, also for myself, i've tried several times to d/load the gbs file (just curiosity really) but the d/load speed is really aweful (bout 2hrs to d/load), is there a prob with the site, is there another site i can get it from? i have a v90 modem which always gives me 5-6k d/load speed anywhere else and never had the prob before with any file, any help here please. regards tic

I've also got a v90 56k modem and d/load only took about 20 minutes if that. Course timing might have an effect--if you are doing d/loads when there is system maint. taking place then things can get slow.
