Ral Posted May 1, 2001 Report Posted May 1, 2001 I have patched to vesion 2.9. I installed the mapack. And...There are no cities on the planets. Any ideas?

Guest $iLk Posted May 8, 2001 Report Posted May 8, 2001 I was having this problem as well, I thought I had installed the mappack by just unzipping it to the install directory and that was it, but I did a little snooping in the directory and came upon a file called MapMake.exe and double clicked on it. It took a few minutes but before long I was lobbing OTS Bugnors over the Southern Continents of Earth to exterminate the insurgents.
Supreme Cmdr Posted May 8, 2001 Report Posted May 8, 2001 quote:MapMake.exe and double clicked on itThat won't do it. Look for the file called bldmaps.bat and execute it. Thats what calls mapmake.exe with the proper parameters. Running mapmake.exe by itself, does nothing.
