Well, I preordered BCM way back in June or July. After a couple months, I became annoyed, because the release date kept being pushed back a few weeks at a time. So I got a refund, and now, around a month later I find myself reserving two copies, one for myself and my roomate. I've heard the hype, and read the articles. (My favorite being the one in Computer Gaming World) "Attack me, I can deal with it.) I just wanted to say, that as impatient as I am, I'm looking foward to my computer firing up something I'll definately play for hours. (Of course waiting a few weeks ain't bad neither.) A toast to Supreme Cmndr. Derek Smart, for the dedication and loyalty he's had, even when some have not. Hat's off to you!!!

Hey there, welcome to the site! I'm sure you'll enjoy being here, and enjoy playing Battlecruiser Millenium!

Edit: Damned typos...

What you say? Days I hope! No, weeks! Ordinary space-shooters you'll play for hours. Not this gem.

Welcome to the gang.

Well, welcome to the board, and to the universe of Battlecrusier! I'm still getting settled in myself. (with the forum, not the game) This is a one-of-a-kind...

Urza searches for a good word, but can't find one

thing that's courtesy of Derek Smart and company. As I've said before, no other developer I know of communicates directly with his fans, as well as making things like the VCF public.

Derek's whole operation is geared toward the fans, (I believe I speak for everyone on this forum here) who are very appreciative of his hard work and dedication. A toast to you, SC!

I'm pretty new to this forum, and BC as well. I happened to hear about BC on the Independence War forums. I would just like to say that those people are jerks, and though I don't post here often, you guys seem much nicer. Also, I would like to give my personal thanks to the SC. After being very, very, very disappointed with IW2, finding BC3000AD free on the internet, and then finding out about BCM was like, well for lack of a better analogy, an opium fiend finding a field of poppies.
