Now, the first thing you guys should know is that i'am 15, and my parents won't let me have a part-time job yet...

My computer will probaly not be able to run BCM, but i want to be sure:

AMD K6-2 500Mhz

192mb Ram

Sound is okay

ATI Rage Pro Turbo 8mb PCI(is this an accelerator? i think it is, since I can play Freespace2 and Klingon Academy with no problems, and they need a acceleraot to work)

And i am sure the rest are fine

Since the min requirments for BCM says you need a 16mb 3d accelerator, that means that i won't be able to play it, right?

Actually, BCM will probably work for you but because your card is under the minimum you have no guarantee that it will. The game is designed to be playable on the minimum but that does not mean it will play well on the minimum. Now take that down one step due to your video card. The best suggestion (sans buying a new card of course) is to download the second demo and see what type of performance you get.

There are 2 demos, E1 and E2, which one should i DL? would I be missing some gameplay by downloading just E2, or do I have to dl E1 then 2 to work?

And why E2? does it improve performance or something?

Why wait when he can download E2 right away, see if his system will handle the demo and whether the degradation from the video card is tolerable?

Aggressor, the reason you want E2 over E1 is that both are public releases of the then current beta. If E3 were available, I'd say go get it because it would be the most current, error free, and optimized demo of the three.

Keep in mind that if it won't run well on your system that there are valid reasons the SC set those minimums and that he doesn't tolerate complaints/bug reports/so forth from users with systems that don't meet the minimums.

But I doubt that E1 will run on DX8.
