Barrongm Posted December 11, 2001 Report Posted December 11, 2001 What OS does BCM run best on??I had it on win2k know its on winxp, I think I was having less trouble with the game in win2k(and yes I changed all drivers when I switched). Any way just wondering, Im considering going back to win2k to see if it fixes a few glitches and was wondering if anyone else has tried the game accross multiple platforms and what they found.
Commander Jamont Posted December 11, 2001 Report Posted December 11, 2001 it runs sweet on win98 and XP , but XP gives me more graphics boost , because nvidia released there xp drivers with a good perfomance increase.
Guest Posted December 11, 2001 Report Posted December 11, 2001 Dont ever "upgrade" your OS. You lose a boatload of performance. Always format and do a clean install.

Guest $iLk Posted December 11, 2001 Report Posted December 11, 2001 Runs great on XP and 2000. I'm kind of half and half about which one is best. I'd say 2000 for now because it's pretty much completely stable.
Barrongm Posted December 11, 2001 Author Report Posted December 11, 2001 well im having problem sc cant reproduce, not sure what os or os's he tried it on , but Im going to get to the bottom of it. Im not the only one who has reproduced it, so im going to research the profiles and look for common info. Any one interested in helping out could also try to reproduce it. See Try This in BCM general dis.It does not seem to be problem with game, as not everyone has the issue.
Gallion Posted December 11, 2001 Report Posted December 11, 2001 SC developed BCM on a Win2k box iirc. BCM runs like a champ on my box - XP Pro TTFN

Supreme Cmdr Posted December 11, 2001 Report Posted December 11, 2001 quote:Originally posted by Barron Morris: can you land and luanch shuttles from tac ops with no problems? The problem you are having might be related to the tacops view switch - which I have now disabled in the upcoming patch. Why don't you quit repeating this in all threads and wait for the next patch?
Barrongm Posted December 11, 2001 Author Report Posted December 11, 2001 Ok SC, sorry, not trying to be pain.
