Hunted Posted June 5, 2002 Report Posted June 5, 2002 YES I KNOW THIS HAS BEEN ASKED BEFORE First off my sc-1 driver had 100 ai, and it was on COMPLETELY FLAT SURFACE but still when i put for my shuttle to deploy team the marines jumped out at 10,000 ft plus and killed themselves HOW IN GOD'S NAME DO YOU DEPLOY MARINE TEAMS!
Supreme Cmdr Posted June 6, 2002 Report Posted June 6, 2002 ..or wait for the next patch (assuming you've actually been reading the VCF updates)
Kartoffel Posted June 6, 2002 Report Posted June 6, 2002 While this thread is active... Why the #$@*&*^'in heck do marines get irradiated on planets that have obviously no background radiation (like Earth) when I deploy?!?
Baloogan Posted June 6, 2002 Report Posted June 6, 2002 quote: Why the #$@*&*^'in heck do marines get irradiated on planets that have obviously no background radiation (like Earth) when I deploy?!?Sunburn
Kartoffel Posted June 6, 2002 Report Posted June 6, 2002 Rant 10-15 %#$%#$'in minutes of exposure are not going to make you irradiated! Why the $%$#% does GalCom store reactor cores in their %$#@#%'in bases!! So maybe it's SCs way of dealing with those planets that do have radiation but its still %$#%$#%#$%#$%'in annoying!!! /Rant Edit: and why the %$## do they get infected 90% of the time?!? Do they look for a piece of rusty metal and prick themselves with it a few dozen times?!? [ 06-06-2002, 15:15: Message edited by: Kartoffel ]

Now go over and stand by that door with the flashing red light above it. Someone will be by shortly with further instructions.
Kartoffel Posted June 6, 2002 Report Posted June 6, 2002 I dont think I want to step out the airlock.

Kartoffel Posted June 7, 2002 Report Posted June 7, 2002 Step outside. Do you get radiation poisioning after 30 minutes exposure? It just seems rather silly.

LordDavid Posted June 7, 2002 Report Posted June 7, 2002 quote:Originally posted by Kartoffel: Step outside. Do you get radiation poisioning after 30 minutes exposure? You will after the Gammulans drop the R.A.N.D.O.M. on Earth
Kartoffel Posted June 7, 2002 Report Posted June 7, 2002 Strange... I already eliminated the Gammulans. (insurgency + R.A.N.D.O.M = a good time & no Gammulans) Edit: getting WAAAYYY off topic. [ 06-07-2002, 01:19: Message edited by: Kartoffel ]

If you don't think that in 3010AD Earth would be subject to radiation (considering whats going on today in 2002AD), then you don't know squat. Siddown!
Guest Grayfox Posted June 7, 2002 Report Posted June 7, 2002 heh. all the armor in the world aint gonna stop radiation from leaking though. need some sunblock with sp 5000. didnt they have that in robocop?
Raven Posted June 7, 2002 Report Posted June 7, 2002 As a matter of fact they did, and it turned whoever wore it a rather pretty shade of blue.

Guest Fox__Trot Posted June 10, 2002 Report Posted June 10, 2002 Game *sigh* I was wondering why I was hungry while I had nutri-packs
IceCold Posted June 11, 2002 Report Posted June 11, 2002 Besides, orbital bombardment is much easier than troop deployment so nuke them from space (then radiation could become a slight issue)
Guest Grayfox Posted June 15, 2002 Report Posted June 15, 2002 nothing wrong with making it a nice quiet neighborhood for oh... about 500 years
