Andergum Posted April 9, 2003 Report Posted April 9, 2003 Where might I find the entry point for the... "One new small sized galaxy containing 12 space regions, 12 planetary regions, 272 planetary mission zones and 1,086 planetary areas of interest (scenes)." I'd like to give it a look but I have limited time for searching right now.
Supreme Cmdr Posted April 9, 2003 Report Posted April 9, 2003 Where did the question originate from? Anyway, that galaxy is only available in the new IA and ACM scenarios. Just like it says in the game's readme.rtf file. It is not accessible from the main game galaxy, nor from the galaxy available in the BCM IA scenarios. In BCG, in addition to its own galaxy, I plan on linking them all.

That was from the readme that was linked in the 4/4/03 GNN announcement under new single player content. http://www.3000ad.com/downloads/bcmg/readme.rtf It just wasn't clear that it was only in an IA and ACM scenario only.
Supreme Cmdr Posted April 9, 2003 Report Posted April 9, 2003 Looks pretty clear to me quote: Because there is no nav chart for this galaxy, most of the fun will be in exploring it. Bring a big gun. All the new scenarios included in BCM Gold, take place in this new galaxy. [ 04-09-2003, 06:22 PM: Message edited by: Supreme Cmdr ]
Cruis. In Posted April 14, 2003 Report Posted April 14, 2003 but like in BC fashion once you complete the ACM arent you free to ROAM? therefore roaming in the new galaxy?

AllenKG2001 Posted April 14, 2003 Report Posted April 14, 2003 After playing and putting up with me system crashing every 5 mins I managed to find the neutral zone in the new galaxy. Im playing the Gamestop edition campaign. I found a Galaxian Explorer ship hovering over a crash probe. You can't select the ship but if you zoom away from the probe you can see it. It looks like a big rock. It's called the "Esoterica".

Nothing but if you read the rest of my post you'll see it's about something in the new BCMG galaxy which is the title of this thread.

Which part was unclear?
