ouch Posted April 18, 2003 Report Posted April 18, 2003 I have a pentium 4 2.53ghz and a radeon 9700 pro and the game actually runs too fast! it seems there isn't a frame rate limiter in BCM I was wondering if you could put one in? if not in BCM at least put it in a future version. it's expecially noticable if you land on a barren planet, time flys (great for mining operations though) I remember years ago when elite taxed the fastest of computers. ever try runing it now without a CPU slow down app? just tapping on the throttle sends you past 3 or 4 planets in .0000000000000000001 seconds. edit: updated sig is all [ 04-18-2003, 05:47 AM: Message edited by: ouch ]
Supreme Cmdr Posted April 18, 2003 Report Posted April 18, 2003 The time runs at a constant rate and has nothing to do with the processor speed of the machine. And no, there is no need for a frame rate limiter. If its such a problem, then run it at 6xAA with 4xAF or something. Topic MOVED
