Dave Boone Posted December 6, 2002 Report Posted December 6, 2002 I've reinstalled bc3k me,installed direct x 8.1, downloaded the .07 patch, and the .08. when I try to run the patches (from the bc dir.) i get this error...first:This patch requires a previous installation of bcm. I select ok, then:Invalid patch file C:3000adbattlecruiser millenniumbcm1007.exe I had it working, before, but recently was forced to reformat the HD, and replaced everything..... what am I doing wrong???
AllenKG2001 Posted December 6, 2002 Report Posted December 6, 2002 You also need to make sure you have Media player 7.1. Which order are you patching. Should be 1.0.07 then 1.0.08RC23 then RC24 and then RC28. If this is the order your using then maybe try downloading the 1.0.07 file again and see if that helps.
Dave Boone Posted December 6, 2002 Author Report Posted December 6, 2002 it was a bad file, corrupted, or somthimg, but thanx!!! and thanx to Epsilon5....

Why is your profile not in your sig? Why are you applying the 1.0.07 patch if you are installing the 1.0.08 Beta set? All you need are the 1.0.08 RC23 and RC28 patches. You do NOT need 1.0.07 - even though installing it first won't cause any problems.
