Ships log stardate (Tonight) we have just finished upgrading the Hull armor to Titanium V, the engine to Numega and the reactor to trellis. I am currently at 51% on my TA Sheild install with about 2560 units on the sheild at full setting. We have just begun the retrieval of all drones stationed on titan in anticipation of installing the new J.A.C. bot. ....Cryptic forgets to save from 2 hours of play.... Final log entry.... During the Drone ops we were jumped by two vandals and another craft of unknown origin. I have made a grave tactical error in going head to head with these craft with my sheild down to 51% functionality. First salvo struck our bridge systems killing nearly all of my officer's. Second attack destroyed the shuttle bays and all but two fighters. Launch control is offline as well as all computer systems. We are dead in the water. two-thirds of the crew is dead and the reactor is about to breech. this is my last log entry for the GCV-Victorious Fury. We are abandoning ship. There has been no response on the tow channels for assistance. May Day, May Day, Ma asddf (silince)...........END Transmission To whom it may concern. Your son is now DEAD because he was stupid. DONT FORGET TO SAVE! Unless of course your hardcore. Time to go shopping for a new ship
Crypticdeath Posted March 7, 2002 Author Report Posted March 7, 2002 Hehehe this game so cool.... Im curious SC... how long did it take for you to figure out all these components? And were you ever in Military service? This game just amazes me everytime i play it. I set up watch rotations and standdowns and shipping lanes tactical battle plans. it amazes me that you thought up this game and then took the initiative to actually do it. I remember when it was first released back long ago in the DOS version. Even with the stuff that happened i found myself saying that even though its not working right it has so much potential. Sure enough was worth the wait. I hope 3000ad makes lots of REVENUE! because i want to see more of this kind of stuff. Like i said great SIM.
