save games

Hi ppl, this is my first post on the forum and Im a total noob with BC and UC.

I love manuals I can read them for hours so that you can use the full potential of the game. I have a little problem thou. I cant find a singel word about saving the game.......... so that you can reload when you dies (happens all to often lol ). I know that you can save in 3 ways (save&exit and the 2 ALT ways). But when I resume or start campain again, I cant.

Is it so that when you are dead you have to start from the begining again?

Oh and by the way, I have searched the forum but cant find the answer.

erm, yes.

If you save and exit select different slots when you do. This way, if you die, you can always revert back to the prior save.

I keep the top slot for my latest safe saves and use the others for when I'm about to do something stupid.
