What's the difference between the autopilot beeing in "direct mode" and the autopilot being "under Mother's control"? 2. Situation: I have marines ready for combat and some intruders are beamed onto my CC. The intruders goes to sickbay, and I manually move my ready marines to sickbay to fight them. Do they go off duty (use the sickbays facilities -> goes off duty) or do they fight the intruders?

NOTE: IF you have prepped your marines for combat, they will first disarm and then head to the MediBay if you order them there. It is far better to let them make their way to the MediBay on their own as they will not disarm in the process.
